    摘要： A device for inserting and extracting a data carrier (2) into/from a reader. The device includes a data carrier holder (3) pivotally connected to a deck (1) of the reader, a locking member (5) slidably installed on the carrier holder (3) for performing a locking/release function, a locking release member (10) one end of which is rotatably installed on the deck (1), the release member (10) having a center of rotation above that of the carrier holder, so that its other end is lockably engageable with the carrier holder (3) to release a locking state of the locking member (5), and an extraction member (12) for enabling extraction/insertion of the data carrier (2). The extraction member (12) is pivotally connected to the carrier holder (3) and has a first end lockable by the locking member (5), a portion for raising the locking release member (10), and a second end for extracting an inserted data carrier (2) when released by the locking release member (10). The device has a simplified structure, and enables insertion/extraction of data carriers (2) such as disk cartridges solely by the engagement of the various members and without the need of a motorised loading mechanism.

In addition, the apparatus is equipped with a second door (3) including a pivot support portion having one end pivotally supported near the edge portion and a locking portion arranged near the pivot support portion to lock with respect to the lock portion, and a second biasing spring (15, 16) for biasing the second door toward the rear surface of the panel main body to cover the opening portion.

    摘要： The invention discloses a tape rewinding device for a magnetic recording and/or reproducing apparatus. When a tape cassette 20 is loaded and recorded or reproduced, the tape 24 is loosened within the deck. The tape rewinding device automatically recovers a loosened portion of the tape 24 during the ejecting of the tape cassette 20. For achieving this purpose, a slider 40 is provided with a tape recovering means consisting of a plurality of gears 110, 120, 130, and this tape recovering means is meshed with a rack gear 100. During the ejecting of the tape cassette 20, the gears 110, 120, 130 are made to revolve by being meshed with the rack gear 100, and the rotating gear 130 rotates a supply reel 48, thereby rewinding the loosened tape 24.

    摘要： There is disclosed a cassette loading device of a compact, lightweight, thin type for use in a video movie or the like. An opening lever is pivotally mounted on a stand, and is engaged in a cam groove with a top plate. With this arrangement, the opening lever is accommodated within a longitudinal dimension of a cassette, and therefore the loading device in the direction of the longitudinal dimension of the cassette can be greatly reduced. The cassette is moved through the pivotal movement of the top plate and arms, and with this arrangement operating switches and so on can be easily mounted on a plane of projection of the top plate. Therefore, the positional stability of the cassette loading device can be achieved, and the number of component parts can be reduced, thereby achieving a compact, lightweight construction of the cassette loading device.

A tape cassette used for the present invention generally comprises a cassette case having a front lid, a pair of tape reel accomodating a magnetic tape thereon within the cassette case and a window at a side wall of the cassette case to expose a reel flange of the tape reels, which real flange is engageable with a reel driving system of the apparatus. The tape cassette loading system according to the present invention comprises a cassette holder having a frame body to which the tape cassette is loaded, and a tape slack take-up mechanism provided to the cassette holder at a position corresponding to the window of the cassette case. Thus, a tape slack of the magnetic tape developed in the cassette case, is taken-up be the tape slack take-up mechanism upon loading the tape cassette into the cassette holder.
