Abstract:
In order to increase the precision in the definition of a contact by pressure between a connector (1), designed to be surface-mounted, and a chip card, the connector is provided with a support plane on a plane printed circuit. This support plane is obtained by means of prestresses obtained on conductive elastic tabs (3-8) of the connector. This prestress consists in placing one end (11-13) of the conductive elastic tabs against stops (14-17) aligned in a plane. This improvement induces an ease of implementation of a connector of this kind as well as the possibility of having a statistical control of the quality of the connectors thus made.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a curved or bent multilayer arrangement for conductor rails comprising several electrically conductive strips (1, 2) separated by layers of insulating material. In this arrangement, the conductive strips (1, 2) possess, along the line of the fold in the rail, a number of windows (5) arranged such that the windows of one strip are staggered with respect to those of another, and in which those same windows are sized in such a manner that the conductive strips (1, 2) are not overlaid along the line of the fold.

Abstract:
Abstract:
An apparatus for the testing of single leads is disclosed, with a base plate (1) with a longitudinal slot (3) along its entire length, with a counter plate (4), guide components (2) which are fastened to one of the two plates (1 and 4) and which guide the other plate in such a way that the counter plate (4) can be moved parallel to the base plate (1), at least one pair of contact studs (6) where one set of ends (7) of the contact studs (6) is connected to the counter plate (4), that the contact studs (6) are rotating and pass through the longitudinal slot (3), at least one elastic component (11 and 12) which gathers together the free ends (8) of the contact studs (6) so that when the apparatus is in the "closed" position, the single leads (14) are clamped between the pair of contact studs and of at least one separating device (9 and 10) which releases the single leads when in the "open" position.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
An electrical receptacle terminal (1) comprising a frame and a spring (16). The frame has a receptacle section (18) for a male terminal (200). The receptacle section (18) has a general shell configuration. One side of the shell has a seam (28) therein and at least one edge parallel (70) to the seam (28). The edge of the side is anchored to a remaining portion of the shell. The spring (16) is movably captured within the receptacle (18). The spring (16) is biased against the shell of the receptacle section (18). The spring (16) has at least one support surface (76) which contacts the side of the shell having the seam (28). The support surface (76) contacts the side adjacent the anchored edge of the sides, so that, when the male terminal (200) is inserted into the receptacle section (18) the spring (16) is urged against the shell without substantially spreading the seam (28).
Abstract:
An electric connector (1) for connecting cables (2, 3), and which includes a connecting element (4) made of conductive sheet metal and connectable electrically to the cables (2, 3); and an enclosure (36) defined by an insulating covering (5) applied to an outer surface of the connecting element (4), and by a shielding cover (30) applied to the insulating covering (5).
Abstract:
A connector for high frequency signals comprises a housing of insulating material and a plurality of male contact elements. The housing has a bottom and two opposite side walls extending upwardly from the bottom, the bottom and side walls determining a receiving space. The bottom is provided with cavities regularly arranged in rows and columns. Each of the contact elements is mounted in a cavity, an upper end of each contact element projecting into the receiving space. The bottom of the housing comprises first and second bottom parts, wherein the cavities extend through both bottom parts. At least a plurality of the cavities have a first stop in the first bottom part and a second stop in the second bottom part, wherein the first and second stops determine a mounting chamber. The contact elements are mounted in the cavities by means of at least one support element clampingly received between the first and second stops in the corresponding mounting chamber.
