According to the invention, the evaluation and control device (5, 6, 7, 8) includes means (8) for estimating collision risk of the vehicle with the obstacle on the basis of the calculated distance and speed of the vehicle and the evaluation and control device controls the warning signal transmitter (4) in order to output a proximity alarm signal when the calculated distance (s) is bigger than the limiting value (S1) and calculation indicates the existence of collision risk.
