    摘要： Described herein are a method and a device for automatically loading a predetermined number of metal bars (4) from a collection workstation (5), in which the bars (4) are arranged in a bundle (3), to a reception workstation (13). A magnetic-effect lifting device (8) can be displaced between a lowered position for picking up the bars (4) and a raised position. A restricted passage (14) is provided that is to be traversed by the bars (4) that are lifted, such as to enable the lifting device (8) to bring just one bar (4) or portion of bar (4) at a time up to the raised position (13). Each time a bar (4) reaches said raised position, it is pushed laterally by a pusher member (15) and deposited on a support (18). When a predetermined number of bars has been unloaded onto the support (18), a gripper-type transferring device (24) grips said bars and brings them into a final position (7).
