摘要： A demountable frame (10) for a vehicle (68) fitted with hook unit equipment. The frame (10) includes skip arms (60) which are operable to hoist a skip (78) to and from the frame (10). 摘要： A dumper vehicle (10) having a slewable load carrying skip (26) and a locking device (63), shown in Fig 2, for resisting oscillatory movement of the skip (26) about its axis of slewing (49) when the skip (26) is arranged in a slewed position, the locking device (63) comprising a resiliently biased locking member (62) and engagement means with which the resiliently biased locking member (62) is engageable when the skip (26) is in said slewed position. A roller (78) carried by the resiliently biased locking member (62) is engageable with a cam-like member (92) to effect locking of the skip (26) in the slewed position. The resiliently biased locking member (62) is carried by a rotary member (22) upon which the skip (26) is mounted, with the engagement means being carried by an adjacent non-rotary part (12) of the vehicle (10). In use, as the resiliently biased locking member (62) rides over the cam-like member (92) the locking member (62) is urged against its resilient bias, the resilient bias finally causing the locking member (62) to enter a recess (100) defined in the cam-like member (92) when the skip (26) arrives at its slewed position.

摘要： A method and apparatus for transferring a load (L) to and from a load supporting platform (100) having a first end (110) pivotally coupled toward the first end of a main frame (200) with a support surface for supporting the platform (100) in a substantially level position. The platform (100) is pivotally raisable from the support surface of the main frame (200) to a raised position for discharging and accepting the load (L) either manually or by an actuatable member (300). A damping member (400) interconnects the platform (100) and the main frame (200) wherein the damping member (400) progressively increases resistance on the load bearing platform (100) as the platform moves from the raised position toward the support surface of the main frame (200) to reduce any impact on the load (L). The platform (100) includes a lower frame (130) and a cover (140) biased away from the lower frame (130) by a plurality of spring members (150) wherein the cover (140) is movable toward the lower frame (130) by the load (L) disposed on a support surface of the cover (140) to actuate a load sensor (160), which indicates the presence of the load (L). A first pair of motor driven wheels (250) is coupled to the first end of the main frame (100) to drive the apparatus along an operating surface (T), and a second pair of wheels (260) is coupled to a opposing sides of a pivoting member to compensate for unevenness in the operating surface (T).

摘要： A trailer (10) constructed in conformance with European specification has three wheeled rear axles (56, 58, 60) and is adapted for the gravity unloading of a container (18) loaded with particulate lading. A rotary valve (116) in the hopper feeds the particulate lading into a high velocity air stream in a lower pneumatic hopper portion (120) for pneumatic discharge.
