    摘要： A planting unit for a seeding machine having a seed meter with a metering member that moves seed sequentially along a first path to a release position at which the seed is moving in a first direction and a delivery system adapted to take seed from the metering member at the release position and control movement of the seed from the seed meter to a discharge location adjacent a seed furrow formed in soil beneath the seeding machine. The delivery system, at the release position, moves seed in a second direction along a second path. A blocking member located adjacent the first path immediately preceding the release position prevents movement of the seed in the second direction until the seed has passed the blocking member.

    摘要： A seed delivery device including a frame defining at least one seed chamber (505). The frame includes a sidewall and an air permeable floor (124). Seed can be received and deposited on the air permeable floor through an input port (503). An air input channel (501) is utilized to introduce an air stream into the seed chamber and direct it through the air permeable floor such that seed is lifted from the air permeable floor to an outlet port (22). An air bypass channel (130) is configured to separate the air stream into a first stream that is directed through the air permeable floor and a second stream that is directed through the bypass channel and recombined with the first stream, at a point prior to the output port, to prevent excess accumulation of seed in the seed chamber.

Um vorteilhafte Konstruktionsverhältnisse zu schaffen, wird vorgeschlagen, daß ein Speicher (6) für die den einzelnen Behältern (8) zugeordneten Meßwerte der Wiegeeinrichtung (5) in eine Auswerteschaltung (10) zur meßwertabhängigen Auswahl einer vorgegebenen Anzahl von Behältern (8) einlesbar ist, daß die über eine Eingabeeinheit (12) überschreibbare, mit einer Anzeige (11) verbundene Auswerteschaltung (10) eine Förderweiche (13) ansteuert, die einen die Behälter (8) in einer vorbestimmten Anordnung aufnehmenden Schrittförderer (9) einerseits mit einem Sammelbehälter (15) für die auszuscheidenden Körnergruppen und anderseits mit der Magazinfülleinrichtung (14) verbindet.

    摘要： A planting implement is disclosed which is operable for performing both row crop and drill planting operations. The implement includes a front planting structure (10) which is detachably coupled to a rear planting structure (12). The front planting structure (10) includes a front gang of planter units (16A) and the rear planting structure includes first and second gangs (16B, 16C) of planting units wherein the planting units of each gang include a furrow opener (24) and a seed metering unit (30). The planter units provide accurate seed depth control as well as singulation and precise positioning of seeds along each row. In addition, the planting implement is formed as a compact structure in a longitudinal direction to ensure that a consistent spacing between rows of seeds is provided during use of the implement.
