摘要:
A cooking apparatus for treating biomass containing lignocellulose, comprises one or more cooking reactors (100, 100') adapted to cook biomass in a cooking chemical which includes formic acid and acetic acid. A heating arrangement (106) is adapted to adjust heat energy transfer to each cooking reactor (100, 100') by adjusting the temperature of the cooking chemical as a function of time and by feeding the temperature-adjusted cooking chemical into each cooking reactor (100, 100').

The present invention relates to a method of producing steam at a digester plant of a chemical pulp mill. Black liquor is discharged from the digester at a first temperature and pressure. The black liquor is treated in a flash tank for generating flashed black liquor and flash steam at a second temperature and a second pressure, which are lower than the first temperature and pressure. The flashed black liquor is taken for further treatment to the evaporation plant. The flash steam is led to an indirect heat exchange contact with clean liquid in the reboiler for boiling the liquid and for generating steam. The steam is led from the reboiler into a fan or compressor for increasing the steam pressure to a third pressure, which is higher than the second pressure and for adjusting the pressure of the steam in the flash tank. Steam at a third pressure is used for pretreating comminuted cellulosic fiber material, such as chips, prior to cooking.
摘要:
Digester systems for producing paper pulp form comminuted cellulosic fibrous material take into account the level of dissolved organic materials (DOM), such as lignin, hemi-cellulose maintaining the DOM level at about 100 g/l throughout the cook (particulary kraft cook). In order to make sure there is sufficient liquid to slurry the material in the feed system of a two vessel, som liquid is withdrawn from the circulation conduits between the digester and impregnation vessel, cooled, and fed to the feed system. In a vapor phase digester, the level of liquid at the top of the digester is more precisely controlled by circulating some of the withdrawn liquid from a circulatory loop of the digester to the level tank associated with the feed system. An in-line drainer may be provided in the feed system between a make-up liquor pump a liquid inlet conduit leading to the top of an impregnation vessel. Within the digester, a set of extraction/dilution screens is provided specifically positioned and spaced from each other, and with respect to a reintroduction conduit opening, so that mixing of different DOM concentration liquids is minimized.
