Two channels of the FADEC system are connected to two channels on the exciter system in a cross talk arrangement. This permits any one channel on the FADEC to control both channels on the exciter for redundancy purposes. The establishment of a FADEC control of an exciter system also permits selective use of the exciters and reduces wear on the exciter circuitry and ignition system components.

L'invention a pour objet un dispositif d'allumage par étincelle pour une turbine à gaz, comportant des moyens électroniques de contrôle du cycle de charge et de décharge d'un générateur d'étincelles de type capacitif. Les moyens de contrôle comprennent: un générateur de fonction 5 qui délivre une tension de référence fonction de la vitesse de la turbine et éventuellement d'autres paramètres. Un dispositif de contrôle 6 de la charge de la cellule capacitive 9 et un dispositif de commande 7 de la fréquence d'étincelle sont pilotés par la tension de référence. La réallumage en cas d'extinction, est commandé par des moyens opto-électroniques 11, 12, 13 qui pilotent un circuit de réallumage 14 délivrant une tension qui se superpose à la tension de référence. Le dispositif peut être utilisé pour l'allumage d'une turbine à gaz, notamment dans les turbo compresseurs.
