    摘要： A method for the preparation of fatty acid calcium salts, which includes the steps of:

    (a) providing a fatty acid feedstock having a glyceride content between about 30 and about 60% by weight;
    (b) adding to the feedstock from about 2 to about 3 equivalents of calcium oxide relative to the feedstock, so that a reactive admixture is formed; and
    (c) adding to the reactive admixture from about 2 to about 5 equivalents of water relative to the calcium oxide so that the calcium oxide hydrates and neutralizes the fatty acids to form calcium salts. Fatty acid calcium salts containing eicosapentaenoic acid and decosahexaenoic acid are also disclosed, as well as compositions for enhancing ruminant fertility.

    摘要： An advantageous process essentially based on the use of molecular distillation, for the preparation of polyunsaturated fatty acids, and namely eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), and of their ethyl esters, from oils of animal and vegetable origin is disclosed, which is particularly suitable for large-scale industrial productions. By that way, complexes constituted by EPA and DHA, or by their ethyl esters, with a total concentration ranging from 35 up to 90 %, and products constituted by DHA alone, or by its ethyl ester at a total concentration not lower than 90 % can be obtained, and these mixtures are used for various purposes, ranging from dietetic-alimentary uses to typically pharmaceutical uses for the management of a very large number of alterations, malfunctions, diseases and pathologies.

    摘要： @ L'huile de pépins de fruits du genre Ribes est une source abondante et bon marché d'acide gamma-linolénique.
    On l'extrait à partir des résidus séchés et moulus de la production des jus, des confitures et gelées ou des eaux-de-vie, liqueurs et schnaps de fruits tels que le cassis, la groseille ou la groseille à maquereau, par pression. Selon un mode de réalisation préféré, on lave les pépins par l'éthanol, on les met sous forme de flocons, on presse les flocons et on extrait le gâteau de pressage par l'hexane.
    L'huile raffinée constitue un ingrédient précieux des compositions cosmétiques, dermatologiques, diététiques et pharmaceutiques.
