摘要： Porous bioabsorbable, bioactive and load-bearing composite medical device structure includes a plurality of regular textile planar layers (1a, lb...) formed of continuous bioabsorbable polymer matrix and bioceramic fibers acting as reinforcements, both included in continuous fibrous elements (3) forming the textile layers. The layers are placed on top of each other to form a structure having two dimensions (x, y) at right angles to each other according to the two dimensions of the textile layer and a third dimension (z) perpendicular to them and resulting from the piling of the layers. A plurality of passages extend through the layers as a result of the openings (2) defined by portions of the continuous fibrous elements (3) extending substantially in the direction of the plane. The continuous fibrous elements (3) comprise both bioactive ceramic reinforcing fibers which form a reinforcing structure and a bioabsorbable polymer matrix material which forms a matrix which binds the layers together and also binds the portions of continuous fibers defining the openings together, thereby forming the passages and stiffening the structure. This bioactive and bioabsorbable composite structure is suitable to be used as a basic structure in medical devices, especially in osteochondral applications where the load-bearing properties of implant are required.

The chenille yarn (3) contains a continuous filament filament binder (5) of a polymer selected to have a melting point which allows melting to occur at maximum speeds either in a tenter frame (25) or in a heat setting machine (17). 摘要： A fabric having a specific structure, its prodn. and various articles formed by the fabric such as clothes. More definitely, the fabric of the present invention is characterised in that a large number of narrow sheet plates (S1-S7) form a superposition structure, and are linked with one another to form the fabric while the superposed portions of these narrow sheet plates (S1-S7) are open in the transverse directions of these plates (S1-S7). The prodn. of the fabric characterised in that the narrow sheet plates (S1-S7) are sequentially superposed while their positions are deviated from one another to form a superposed structure, and the adjacent narrow sheet plates (S1-S7) are linked with one another while keeping this state. When used for clothes, for example, the fabric of the present invention prevents the solar rays and rain from striking directly the skin of people wearing the clothes, has extremely high air permeation performance and moreover, has rich fashion property. The fabric can constitute clothes having those functions which have not been accomplished conventionally. This fabric can be applied to various fields besides the clothes, such as beddings, sand prevention sheets, agricultural or horticultural greenhouses, packaging cases for footgears and fresh foodstuffs, beach parasols, tents, filter materials, chair upholstering materials, screens and curtains, and the like, and can provide novel articles in each field. @(59pp Dwg.No.0/13).
