The method comprises receiving a message from a wireless communication device, the message indicating that the wireless communication device is adapted to transmit data associated with a second latency requirement comprising a second latency which is lower than the first latency. The method also comprises selecting a configuration for the wireless communication device from a plurality of configurations, wherein each configuration is associated with a respective group of wireless communication devices adapted to transmit data associated with the second latency requirement. Each of the plurality of configurations comprises a respective radio resource for potential transmission by the wireless communication devices of the respective group, and the selection is based on a probability of interference between the potential transmissions by the wireless communication devices of the group associated with the selected configuration. The method also comprises transmitting configuration information to the wireless communication device regarding the radio resource of the selected configuration. The method comprises transmitting a first transmission to a network node with a redundancy version (RV). The wireless device then determines to retransmit the first transmission, and retransmits the first transmission with a retransmission RV based on the type of retransmission. For a non-adaptive retransmission, the retransmission RV value is the same as the RV of the first retransmission. For an adaptive retransmission, the retransmission RV is the RV value received in a retransmission grant.

The present disclosure relates to methods and devices for improved cell detection. In particular the disclosure relates to cell detection within a group of cells with high requirements of low latency. The disclosure also relates to corresponding computer program. The disclosure proposes a method, performed in a wireless device, for cell detection within a group of cells. The method comprises detecting a first synchronization signal of a first cell in the group, wherein the detecting comprises searching for any of a set of predefined synchronization signals. The method further comprises obtaining, based on the detected first synchronization signal, information defining a subset of the predefined synchronization signals, wherein the subset defines synchronization signals that are possible within the group of cells. The method also comprises decoding one or more further synchronization signals of cells in the group of cells using the obtained information.
