摘要: A mechanism is provided to monitor and control the number of terminals (100) or number of PDU sessions for a network slice, or both. A new network function called the Network Slice Control Function (NSCF) (85) is defined that interacts with an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) (40) and/or Session Management Function (SMF) (45) to monitor and control a number of users for a network slice, a number of PDU sessions for a network slice, or both. The NSCF (85) determines per slice quotas for the number of users and/or number of session for network slices and interacts with the AMF (40) and/or SMF (45) to enforce the quotas.

摘要: A method for a wireless device of a wireless communication system is described herein. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving - by the wireless device from an access and mobility management function (AMF) - configuration information for a time duration associated with inactivity of a network slice of one or more allowed network slices; starting - by the wireless device - the time duration; determining - by the wireless device - that the time duration expires; and removing - by the wireless device and in response to determining - the network slice from the one or more allowed network slice. Moreover, a corresponding wireless device as well as related apparatuses, devices and systems are described.

wherein the mobile station is connected to, or registered on, the first mobile communication network as a result of a primary network selection process that is performed taking into account the radio environment as well as network selection data being stored in a memory module of the mobile station, wherein at least part of the network selection data relate to or indicate the first mobile communication network, wherein, in order for the mobile station to be additionally connected to, or registered on, the second mobile communication network, the method comprises the following steps:
-- in a first step, the mobile station comprises or receives secondary network selection data, the secondary network selection data being related, at least in part, to the first mobile communication network and indicating at least the second mobile communication network,
-- in a second step, the mobile station is connected to, or registered on, the second mobile communication network - in addition to being connected to, or registered on, the first mobile communication network - as a result of a secondary network selection process being performed taking into account the radio environment as well as the secondary network selection data,
-- in a third step, and in case that the connection to the first mobile communication network is interrupted while the connection to the second mobile communication network is still active, the connection between the mobile station and the second mobile communication network is maintained.-
