The present application discloses a rinse aid composition comprising: a) from 0.01 to 70 wt% of at least one water-soluble metal salt; b) from 0.01 to 25 wt% of an acid; c) from 0.01 to 60 wt% of a non-ionic surfactant; d) at least a dispersant polymer and/or a perfume; and wherein said rinse aid composition has a pH of less than 5 when measured at 10% concentration in an aqueous solution.

A foam-generating kit contains a non-aerosol container with a foam-generating dispenser and a high surfactant composition, preferably within the container. The high surfactant composition comprises, by weight of the high surfactant composition, at least 20% of a surfactant system and provides a 1% canola oil dissolution when tested at a 75% product concentration. When the foam-generating dispenser is employed with the high surfactant composition, the foam-generating dispenser generates a foam having a foam to weight ratio of greater than about 2 mL/g.

Disclosed is a powder mixture or granulate mixture containing at least 80 percent by weight of a mixture of (a) 5 to 95 wt. % of at least one glycine-N,N-diacetic acid derivative of general formula (I) MOOC-CHR-N(CH2COOM)2 (I), wherein R represents C1-12 alkyl and M represents alkali metal, and (b) 5 to 95 wt. % of at least one polyethylene glycol, at least one nonionic surfactant, a mixture thereof, or a polymer selected among the group comprising polyvinyl alcohols, polyvinylpyrrolidones (PVP), polyalkylene glycols, and derivatives thereof. Also disclosed are methods for producing said powder mixtures or granulate mixtures, the use thereof, and a solid detergent and a solid dishwashing substance containing the inventive powder mixture or granulate mixture.

The invention relates to a method for the crease resistant finishing of cellulose-containing textiles by treating the textiles with aqueous dispersions of C14 to C22 alkyl ketene dimers serving as finishing agents and by drying the treated textiles. The invention also relates to laundry post-treatment agents which contain, as an aqueous dispersion, 0.1 to 40 wt. % of a C14 to C22 alkyl ketene dimer, 0.1 to 50 wt. % of at least one softener and, optionally, non-ionic surfactants.

A melt-cast detergent composition which retains rigidity at least up to 40 °C comprising: (a) 2-50 (Xa) % by wt. saturated fatty acid soap comprising one or more salts of C6-C24 fatty acids; (b) 2-40 % by wt. of detergent active species; (c) 0.5-20 % by wt. of a salting-in electrolyte; and (d) 30-80 % by wt. water; wherein the fatty acid soap present forms an Xa % solution in water with a liquid phase having a viscosity less than 50 Pa.s at a shear rate of 1 sec-1 in the temperature range 50-100 °C, shows phase separation and presence of a solid phase during cooling up to 20 °C and the solid phase is present at least up to 40 °C during heating.

Water-soluble solvent compositions, including from about 10% to about 60% by weight of an aromatic ester; from about 30% to about 60% by weight of an aliphatic ester; from 0% to about 15% by weight of a co-solvent; from 0% to about 20% of one of a cyclic terpene and a terpenoid; from 0% to about 1% by weight of an odor-masking agent; and from 0% to about 20% by weight of a nonionic surfactant, for removing petroleum residue from a substrate, and methods of use thereof. The composition can further comprise water. The composition also can comprise an aqueous solution. The method for removing petroleum residue from a substrate can further comprise recycling the solvent composition by using a countercurrent separation column charged with compressed ammonia and/or carbon dioxide and a spinning band distillation column to separate the solvent composition from the petroleum residue.

Liquid formulations of imidoalkanepercarboxylic acids, in the form of aqueous dispersions comprising, in percentages by weight relative to the total weight of the composition: A) from ≥ 7% to 40% and preferably from 10% to 20% of imidoalkanepercarboxylic acids having the general formula (I), the said imidoalkanepercarboxylic acids being in the β form and having a dissolution time, determined via the test of the rate of dissolution at a temperature of 40°C or 18°C, of not more than 5 minutes when determined at 40°C or 15 minutes when determined at 18°C, for an amount of dissolved acid equal to 99% of the theoretical amount; B) from 0.001 % to 0.9% of a nonionic surfactant; the said dispersions having a viscosity of not more than 2000 mPa.sec at 25°C by applying a shear rate of 20 s-1; in which the dissolution time of the component A), determined via the test of the rate of dissolution at a temperature of 40°C or 18°C, is not more than 5 minutes when determined at 40°C or 15 minutes when determined at 18°C, for an amount of dissolved acid equal to 99% of the theoretical amount, as defined in the rate of dissolution test; the said dispersions in the test of stability at 40°C for seven days show variations in viscosity of not more than 300 mPa.sec; the said aqueous formulations being obtainable by grinding the crystals of imidoalkanepercarboxylic acids in α form dispersed in an excess of water, in the presence of a surfactant chosen from nonionic surfactants; cooling the liquid dispersion to a temperature below 30°C.
