Abstract:
Example implementations relate to a restructuring input/output requests directed to a storage device. For example, in an implementation, a storage controller may receive input/output requests directed to a storage device, monitor a power variable of the storage device, restructure the received I/O requests based on properties information about the storage device and a workload level of the received I/O requests, and submit the restructured I/O requests to the storage device. The restructured I/O requests, when serviced by the storage device, allow the power variable to conform with a power policy.
Abstract:
A computer-implemented method comprises executing, in a first container of a first computer system, input source instructions; executing, using the same first computer system, a plurality of containerized application programs in different corresponding containers; monitoring, by the input source instructions, the one or more different containerized application programs by identifying one or more system calls that resulted from the different container applications generating statistical messages relating to operation of the containerized application programs; generating, by the input source instructions, one or more enriched messages based on the system calls that were identified and based on the statistical messages; transmitting the one or more enriched messages to a first metric collector, and aggregating a plurality of the enriched messages into a set of aggregated metrics values; sending, from the first metric collector to a monitoring application that is hosted on a second computer system, the aggregated metrics values.
Abstract:
An operation signal generating unit 11 and a reset unit 12 are included in a first circuit unit 10 that operates based on a first power supply voltage V1 and an output operation of a second power supply voltage B2 is stopped by outputting a reset signal Sr from the reset unit 12 to a regulator 20 in accordance with an operation signal Si of the operation signal generating unit 11. Hence, unlike a conventional technique, a large transistor for cutting off a power supply line is unnecessary, and therefore a device size can be reduced.
Abstract:
Examples disclosed herein relate, among other things, to a monitoring system. The monitoring system may include a report analyzer configured to receive a report from one of a plurality of devices and determine whether the report includes at least one masked value. If the report includes at least one masked value, the report analyzer may be configured to determine, based on a plurality of reports associated with the masked value, whether an unmasking condition is satisfied, and if the unmasking condition is satisfied, to mark the masked value for unmasking.
Abstract:
A plurality of application requests from an application may be monitored, with each of the application requests associated with an instance of a plurality of instances of a user interaction with the application. A request response time for each of the application requests may be determined. A user interaction time for each of the plurality of instances of the user interaction with the application may be obtained. From the plurality of instances, slow instances that have a user interaction time greater than a slow threshold may be selected, with each of the slow instances comprising a selected application request of the plurality of application requests. For the slow instances, the request response times of the selected application requests may be averaged to generate an average request response time. A comparison request response time for the selected application request may be determined.
Abstract:
An information processing device including a recording module to record a program having cleared a watchdog timer; a determination module to refer, when the watchdog timer expires, to the recording module to determine an application to be executed from among a plurality of applications, and to determine an operating system to be executed from among a plurality of operating systems; an execution module to execute the operating system determined by the determination module; and a communication module to notify the operating system to be executed of the application to be executed.
Abstract:
In a diagnosis method of a control valve, position data representing a position of a control valve, and pressure data representing a pressure difference over a valve actuator, and optionally travel direction of the control valve, is measured during online operation of the control valve. The position data and the pressure difference data are processed to contain data around starting points of a plurality of individual travel movements of the control valve during normal online operation of the control valve. Finally, a valve signature graph of the control valve is determined based on the processed position and pressure difference data, collected at a plurality of points along the travel range of the control valve during online operation of the control valve.
Abstract:
A method includes, in a processor that executes instructions of program code, monitoring the instructions in a segment of a repetitive sequence of the instructions so as to construct a specification of register access by the monitored instructions. In response to detecting a branch mis-prediction in the monitored instructions, the specification is corrected so as to compensate for the branch mis-prediction. Execution of the repetitive sequence is parallelized based on the corrected specification.
Abstract:
Monitoring printers can include monitoring traffic associated with a plurality of printers and/or receiving, from the monitored traffic, an indication of a status of a printer of the plurality of printers.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of an electronic device including outputting an image through a display according to running of an application, receiving at least one of information on a state and an external situation of the electronic device while the image is output, determining, based on at least one of the information on the state and the external situation of the electronic device, whether at least one of the state and the external situation of the electronic device corresponds to a designated condition for storing at least part of the output image, and storing at least part of the output image based on the determination.
