    摘要: The present invention relates to control of electrical motors and in particular, to the design and control of reluctance motors capable of micro-stepping position control. According to the invention there is provided a single stack variable reluctance machine with salient stator teeth and salient rotor teeth, the stator further comprising field magnet sections created by either permanent magnets or field windings or a combination of permanent magnets and field windings, and further comprising armature windings connected to form at least two armature phase windings, the armature phase windings connected to a power source or power electronic inverter for the supply of positive and negative current to at least two armature phase windings such that the rotor rotates in small incremental steps in response to small changes in the current in one or more of the phase windings.

    摘要: A switched reluctance machine has salient poles on the stator and rotor. The windings of the machine are supplied from a converter which provides energisation at a chosen rate. The windings of the machine may be energised at the rate at which the rotor poles pass the stator poles, or it may be operated at a fraction of that rate by energising the windings to cooperate with every second, third or fourth rotor pole. This can extend the output of the machine.

    摘要: Disclosed is an SR (switched reluctance) generator with improved generation capability in a low-speed range.
    The SR generator is configured such that an inductance of a phase winding wound around a stator is increased in a low-speed range and is reduced in a high-speed range. Accordingly, a variation rate of the inductance relative to a phase angle is increased in a low-speed range, resulting in an increased output energy in a low-speed range and an improved generation efficiency. The phase winding of the stator may be configured to have a single phase. Accordingly, since the generator is configured with the reduced number of switches, it can be manufactured inexpensively and simply.
