Es wird eine Steuereinrichtung (1) für eine Wischereinrichtung (10) einer Scheibenwischvorrichtung (2), insbesondere eines Kraftfahrzeuges vorgeschlagen, bei der während jedes Wischzyklusses eine Adaption eines Sollverlaufes des Wischwinkels des Wischarms (5) an einen aktuell ermittelten Arbeitspunkt am Wischarm (5) erfolgt. Dadurch kann sowohl ein Überwischen als auch ein zu geringes Auswischen des Wischfeldes der Wischereinrichtung (10) reduziert werden, so dass Wischgenauigkeiten vor allem in Umkehrlagen der Wischarme (5) verbessert werden können. Ferner wird ein Verfahren zur Anpassung eines Sollverlaufs des Wischwinkels einer Wischereinrichtung (10) an aktuell vorherrschende Arbeitspunkte am Wischarm (5) vorgeschlagen.
