Abstract:
A track unit (1) for moving a ground work vehicle, comprising two elastic elements (13,14) proximate to the front and rear ends, interposed between a monolithic upper portion (2,3) of the structure that supports the driving wheel and a monolithic lower portion (6) that supports two pairs of coaxial guiding wheels (7a,7b,8a,8b) with parallel axles and resting rollers, means adapted to ensure a coplanar arrangement of the upper (2,3) and lower portions (6) of the structure being also provided.
Abstract:
The disclosure is generally directed toward vehicle support systems. In one embodiment of the invention, first (221) and second (222) support assemblies (220) are pivotally coupled to a base (210). A control mechanism (240) couples the first and second support assemblies together and is configured to control pivotal movement of the support assemblies between spread and stowed positions. In another embodiment, first and second support assemblies are pivotally coupled to a base and to first and second wheel assemblies (270). First and second steering mechanisms can be coupled to the first and second wheel assemblies and the first and second support assemblies. A control system can be operatively coupled to the first and second steering mechanisms and can be configured to command selected angular positions of the first and second wheel assemblies relative to the base by compensating for the support assemblies being in various positions.
Abstract:
A lift truck (1) of the type which comprises a chassis (2) which rests on at least three wheels (3a, 3b, 3c), a platform (4) which can perform a vertical translational motion with respect to the chassis (2), and at least one respective element for moving one of the wheels (3a, 3b, 3c). At least one wheel (3c) is free and arranged proximate to an end of the chassis (2), and two wheels (3a, 3b) are each controlled by a respective independent motor element (5a, 5b) and are mutually parallel and proximate to each other. The platform (4) lies above the motorized wheels (3a, 3b).
Abstract:
Abstract:
A track laying wood chipper, shredder or combined chipper/shredder 10 comprises a body 12 and two track laying assemblies 26, 28. Each track laying assembly 26, 28 is carried by an arm 32. Each arm 32 is telescopically extendable so as to adjust the ground clearance of the body and/or the distance between the track laying assemblies 26, 28.
Abstract:
Propulsion unit (1) for a tractor, which unit (1) comprises a diesel engine (2) and two electrical machines (13, 20); unit (1) in which the diesel engine (2) and the two electrical machines (13, 20) are connected mechanically to a device (39) for subdivision/recombination of the power delivered by the diesel engine (2) and delivered/absorbed by the electrical machines (13, 20), the electrical machines (13, 20) being capable of operating both as generators and as motors. The unit (1) is characterized in that in at least one interval (R1, R2) of the ground speed of the tractor, the electrical fraction of the power delivered/absorbed by the electrical machines (13, 20) is zero.
Abstract:
A utility transport tractor having a cargo box (26) above the rear axle (15) with the operator's platform (18) forward of the rear axle (15) enabling additional seats (22, 24) to be included. To maintain the functionality of a conventional agricultural tractor (10), a tail gate (40) of the cargo box (26) and a portion (106) of the cargo box floor (34) can be raised to positions in which they both extend upwardly and forwardly toward the operator (102). In these positions, the three point hitch (28) at the rear of the tractor (10) is visible to the operator (102) as is typically the case conventional agricultural tractors. The tail gate (40) is mounted to the cargo box (26) for rotation about multiple axes (86, 88, 90, 92) to pivot the tail gate (40) to multiple open positions.
