摘要:
A device (10) for positioning a radiographic cassette (11) comprises two mutually perpendicularly arranged stops (16, 17) against which one side edge and the front edge of the cassette (11) is positioned. In order to guarantee a correct positioning, a continuous force is applied to the radiographic cassette which is so directed as to urge the latter against at least one stop.

A device 10 for unloading radiographic cassettes 18 in daylight is disclosed which enables the rapid sequential unloading of said cassettes. Therefore, use is made of an intermediate storage magazine 14 to which the films 24 after unloading are fed at a high speed whereinafter they are dispensed towards a processing apparatus 12 at a speed equal to the one of the processing apparatus. As a consequence, the time necessary to unload a radiographic cassette 18 is substantially reduced, the unloading capacity of the device 10 being tripled when compared with prior art machines. The device according to the invention may be controlled with the help of a microprocessor.

An apparatus for opening radiographic cassettes comprises a housing which may be closed in a light-tight fashion and in which a platform is provided onto which the radiographic cassette is positioned. In the housing is also provided an elongated upwardly inclined projection on which may be located a projecting lip portion connected to the cover of the cassette. When pushing the cassette further into the housing the cover becomes gradually lifted. At a given position the lifting is sufficiently high in order to permit the introduction of an unexposed film or the withdrawal of an exposed one from the cassette. A release mechanism, upon actuation, enables the cassette cover to drop thereby closing and relocking the cassette. The apparatus is suitably incorporated in a daylight sys. tem for loading radiographic cassettes with unexposed radiographic films.

Apparatus for loading a single sheet of X-ray film into a cassette, from a plastic lighttight envelope containing a stack of such sheets, all in a daylight environment. A receiver for holding the envelope containing the sheets includes a clip at the top that holds one end of the envelope and a groove at the bottom into which the lower end of the envelope can be laid. A rod lies in the groove over the envelope, so that when the lower envelope end is cut, no light leaks in. However, when the receiver is placed on a dispenser, the rod can be withdrawn from outside the receiver to open the envelope and allow the stack of film to fall out into the dispenser which can feed one sheet at a time into the cassette. The cassette lies in a pivotally mounted cassette-holding housing that has alight seal at the top so that, when the housing pivots under the dispenser, the apparatus is sealed against light and, when the housing pivots away from the dispenser, the cassette can pop up and be withdrawn through the top of the housing.

A device for storing and dispensing sheetlike materials comprises a coilable web (23) transferrable from one reel (20) onto another (22) and vice versa. For the storing of the sheets (24), the latter are introduced between adjacent convolutions of the web during the winding-up cycle. Dispensing of the sheets occurs by unwinding the previously coiled web (23) so that the sheets (24) are released again. The web (23) is driven by a rotating feeding roller (21). Via a slip clutch (28,29) mounted on the reel driving shafts (20,22), the web (23) is kept tensioned. As such, the problems of prior art systems, which make use of directly driven reels and which require a controlling of the coil diameter in order to store and dispense sheets at a uniform speed and tension, are avoided. The system is mounted in a light tight housing (11) and forms part of an X-ray daylight system in which it is used as intermediate magazine for unloading radiographic cassettes.
