摘要: A fourth lead wire (LW40), since arranged in a shading coverage, is prevented from exposure to the irradiation lights from a low-beam filament (51) by the effect of the shading function of a high-beam filament (52). The front end of a third support wire (SW3) in a semi-shading coverage, since bent to a curved surface, receives the irradiation lights from the low-beam filament (51) but with a minute area; and the light diffusion function of the bending curved surface acts thereupon. The lower end on the front end portion (SW20) of a second support wire (SW2), since positioned above the lower end of the low-beam filament (51), is prevented from appearing above a light-shade boundary line. In either use as a right-traffic light source bulb or as a left-traffic light source bulb, lights from the low-beam filament (51) and the high-beam filament (52) reach the reflecting surface (40) of a reflector (4) without passing through a rear-end sealed part of a glass envelop, eliminating optical-path changes in the rear-end sealed part, production of glare light, and light-distributional problems. This results in freedom from virtual image glare, so that a single light source bulb (5) can be used both as a left-traffic light source bulb and a right-traffic light source bulb.

摘要: The invention relates to a lamp for a motor vehicle headlight. According to the invention, a lamp with two coils is proposed which is capable of fulfilling widely differing functions, among them in particular future AFS lighting functions, in a flexible manner. The coils are arranged in parallel in longitudinal direction next to one another, not one behind the other. Means for screening off the light emitted by the coils in certain angular regions are arranged such that the regions illuminated by the coils - at least in the radiation directions relevant for the use in a reflector - overlap only slightly, preferably not at all.

摘要: Die Erfindung betrifft eine Glühlampe mit mindestens einer Glühwendel (3,4), die zur Erzeugung eines Fernlichtbündels (6,8) in einem Kraftfahrzeugscheinwerfer eingesetzt werden kann, mit dem zusätzlich die Funktion eines Tagfahrlichtbündels realisiert werden kann. Die Verwendung eines gedimmten Fernlichtes als energiesparendes Tagfahrlicht (DRL) hat den Nachteil einer ungeeigneten Lichtverteilung des Fernlichtes für die Funktion als Tagfahrlicht. Weiterhin müßte das Fernlicht zur Erfüllung der Anforderung an die maximale Lichtstärke des Tagfahrlichtes so sehr gedimmt werden, dass der Halogenkreislauf im Kolben (2) der Glühlampe nicht mehr aufrechterhalten werden kann. Daher kommt es zu Abschwärzungen an der Kolbeninnenseite und zu einer Verkürzung der Lebenszeit. Um eine Glühlampe zu schaffen, die eine verbesserte Realisierung einer Tagfahrlichtfunktion in einem Kraftfahrzeugscheinwerfer ermöglicht, wird eine Glühlampe mit wenigstens einer ersten Glühwendel (3) zur Erzeugung eines Fernlichtbündels (6) in einem Kraftfahrzeugscheinwerfer und wenigstens einer zweiten Glühwendel (4) zur Erzeugung eines Tagfahrlichtbündels (8) in einem Kraftfahrzeugscheinwerfer vorgeschlagen.

摘要: A lamp capsule for use in a vehicle headlamp includes a lamp envelope having a tubular portion. First and second spaced-apart filaments are mounted in the lamp envelope for emitting light when energized by electrical energy. The lamp capsule further includes one or more light-attenuating axial stripes on the lamp envelope. The axial stripes are positioned on the lamp envelope for blocking light emitted by the first filament and reflected by the second filament. The lamp capsule may further include light-attenuating rings at or near opposite ends of the lamp envelope for defining upper and lower boundaries of a clear region of the lamp envelope. A filament support structure may include support leads located in the plane of the filaments for limiting light blockage and stray reflections.

摘要: A lamp for automotive vehicle front lighting is described. The lamp 10 comprises a base 12 for mechanical and electrical connection to an automotive headlight 50 and a burner 14 fixed to the base 12. The burner 14 comprises an enclosed transparent vessel 22. A first and a second filament 34, 36 are arranged within the vessel 22. A baffle 40 is arranged proximate to the first filament 34 to shield the second filament 36 from the first filament 34. When the first filament 34 is operated at a supply voltage of 13.2 V at an electrical power greater than 35 W and less than or equal to 38 W, light with a luminous flux of 500-700 lm is emitted from the lamp 10. If the second filament 36 is operated at a supply voltage of 13.2 V at an electrical power greater than 35 W and less than or equal to 38 W, light with a luminous flux of 800-1,000 lm is emitted from the lamp 10. Both the first and the second filament wire 34, 36 are comprised of a filament wire wound in a winding structure around a filament axis, where the number of winding turns for each of first and second filaments 34, 36 is 16-23.
