The baffle 40 is fixed to the holding wire 30c. The transparent vessel 22 comprises a vessel wall including a cylindrical portion 24 surrounding the first filament 34. In order to obtain a lamp which may withstand vibration, a support member 38, 138, 238 is provided including at least a first part 39 fixed to the baffle 40 or to the holding wire 30c and a second part 43 which is in contact with the cylindrical portion of the vessel 22. The support member 38, 138, 238 comprises a flexible intermediate part 37 connecting the first and second parts, such that the baffle 40 or the holding wire 30c is supported resiliently against the vessel 22.

First and second spaced-apart filaments are mounted in the lamp envelope for emitting light when energized by electrical energy. The lamp capsule may further include light-attenuating rings at or near opposite ends of the lamp envelope for defining upper and lower boundaries of a clear region of the lamp envelope. A filament support structure may include support leads located in the plane of the filaments for limiting light blockage and stray reflections.

    摘要: In a reflector lamp having a halogen light source (3), a dichroic filter (5) is applied to the front glass (1) of the lamp in order to produce light having a spectral emission with a single peak which substantially matches the emission spectrum of sunlight, at least over the visible range. The dichroic filter is tuned to the characteristics of the particular light source used and reduces the transmission of yellow and red light significantly below the theoretical values for a lamp with no reflector in order to take into account of secondary and multiple reflections when a reflector is present. In an alternative embodiment, the dichroic filter is applied directly to the light source (3).
