    摘要: A printer is capable of stably feeding even a thin recording medium to a printing section and obtaining good print quality similar to that obtainable in the case of a thick recording medium. The printer comprises a first supply path for supplying a first recording medium, a second supply path for supplying a second recording medium thicker than the first recording medium, a printing section for printing on a recording medium supplied from the first supply path or the second supply path, and a delivery section for delivering the recording medium printed in the printing section. A guide spring member which is movable up and down is projected upstream of the printing section and in a meeting portion of the first supply path and the second supply path. This guide spring member serves to support a top surface of the first recording medium at a predetermined height.

    摘要: The difference of luminance between a front surface side and a rear surface side as viewed from the front surface side is reduced in a multi-layered EL. An EL lamp includes a first laminate (F) formed by serially laminating a first transparent electrode (1), a first luminescent layer (2) and a first insulating (13) layer, a second laminate (S) formed by serially laminating a second transparent electrode (4), a second luminescent layer (5) and a second insulating layer (6) on the first laminate (F), and a rear electrode (7) formed on the second laminate (S), wherein a dielectric constant between the first (1) and second (4) transparent electrodes is set to a value smaller than a dielectric constant between the second (4) transparent electrode and the rear electrode (7). This can be achieved by limiting the amount of a high dielectric material to be mixed in the first insulating layer (13) to not greater than 90% in terms of a weight ratio of a high dielectric material mixed in the second insulating layer (6), or by limiting the thickness of the first luminescent layer (13) to 130 to 250% of the thickness of the second luminescent layer (6). After the adjustment is made in this way, the thickness of the first insulating layer (13) may be set to not greater than 90% of the thickness of the second insulating layer (7).

    摘要: In an EL-combined sheet switch, electromagnetic waves are blocked, and appliances with the sheet switch are prevented from malfunctioning. A circuit board 1 having a driving circuit mounted on its back surface and having a switch pattern la formed on its front surface is combined with a contact sheet 3 having a counter electrode 4 on its back surface in such a manner that the counter electrode 4 faces the switch pattern la to construct a switch mechanism. To the front surface of the contact sheet 3, attached is an EL sheet 7, and a shield layer 5 is provided between the contact sheet 3 and the EL sheet 7. In the EL-combined sheet switch with that constitution, the electromagnetic noise from the EL sheet 7 is blocked by the shield layer 5. The shield layer 5 is connected with a ground electrode 1b formed on the circuit board 1.

A part of the back electrode layer is left as an exposed portion 5a and a second insulation layer 6 is coated on the remaining whole face thereof. A contact layer 5b is formed on the exposed portion 5a of the back electrode layer and a contact layer 2c which conducts with the exposed portion 2a of the transparent electrode layer is formed on the back of the second insulation layer 6. Contact terminal portions for an external driving control circuit are connected with the respective contact layers 2c and 5b of the transparent electrode layer and the back electrode layer.
