An injection-molded and in-mold decorated article with an antenna includes an injection molded article (12), a decorative film (22, 23) which covers and decorates at least one part of an outer surface of the injection molded article, a planar antenna (28, 29) arranged between the injection molded article and the decorative film, and a thickness absorbing sheet (31) arranged between the planar antenna and the injection molded article so as to cover the whole planar antenna to absorb a thickness of the planar antenna. The decorative film, the planar antenna, and the thickness absorbing sheet are integrally formed through injection molding simultaneous decoration. Since the thickness absorbing sheet (31) absorbs concavo-convex shapes of an antenna pattern, quality of an appearance design can be improved in the injection-molded and in-mold decorated article with the antenna provided for a communication function of a small mobile device.

The invention concerns a sheet complex useful for surface coating of moulded structures, in particular those moulded by low pressure injection of thermoplastic substance, comprising a planar structure (9) designed to constitute the final element skin, combined with an underlayer designed to adhere with the injected substance. The invention is characterised in that said underlayer consists of a textile lap (10) or (15) based on fibres resistant to a temperature higher than the injecting temperature, the bonding with the planar structure reverse side resulting from the use of a film based on a thermoplastic composition, compatible with both constituents of the complex and said lap forming a thermal barrier during the injecting phase and an adhesive coating with the injected substance.

An interior finish member having a door suitable for an air bag comprises a main body (11) and a cover portion (12). The main body (11) surrounds the periphery of the cover portion (12), and the main body (11) and the cover portion (12) form a continuous surface. The cover portion (12) covers a folded air bag (2) of an air bag device (1). The cover portion (12) comprises: a door portion (13) which covers the folded air bag (2); a breakable portion (14) defined by a recessed periphery of the door portion (13) whose thickness is thinner than adjacent portions of the interior finish member so that it may be broken easily in deployment of the air bag (2); and a hinge portion (15) for connecting the door portion (13) with the main body (11) and for providing a pivot around which the door portion (13) rotates when the door portion (13) opens under a force of an expanding air bag (2). The main body (11) is made of thermoplastic resin, and the cover portion (12) is made of thermoplastic elastomer. Because they are capable of thermally fusing with each other, the main body (11) and the cover portion (12) can be integrally formed.
