The connector (1) consists of a printed-circuit board (4) connected to the conductors of the cable (2). The connector (1) carries a generally U-shaped spring (5), the arms (5a) of which have, at their ends, means (6) which engage with complementary means (7) in order to lock the connector (1) to a socket (18). The connector (1) has a pivoting lever carrying a member (10) which engages with the base (5b) of the generally U-shaped spring (5), this member being able to move, when the lever pivots, between a position in which this member is inactive with respect to the base (5b) of the spring (5) and the arms (5a) of the spring (5) are locked to the socket (8) and a position in which this member (10) exerts a force on the base (5b) of the spring (5) in order to unlock the arms (5a) of the latter from the socket (8).

A connector (10) having a frame (20) with an upper arm (22) and a lower arm (24) cantilevered from a center section (26) to form a channel (28) adapted to receive a section of a structural steel member. The frame (20) has a conductor receiving area (80) to receive a conductor therein. The conductor receiving area (80) is located so that when the upper arm (22) and the lower arm (24) are compressed to grip the section of the structural steel member received in the channel (28), the conductor located in the conductor receiving area (80) is crimped to the frame (20).

The present invention relates to a plug-in connector arrangement having a housing (1) which in the longitudinal direction has holding shafts (3) for plug-in contacts (20) and a secondary locking element having a secondary locking slider (4) which is held in a channel, extending transverse to the plug-in direction, in the housing and engages in the holding shafts (3), it being possible to displace the contact locking slider (4) between a position for inserting the contacts (20) and a contact locking position. The secondary locking element has guide means (8; 14) which guide the secondary locking slider (4) with a direction component parallel to the longitudinal direction of the holding shafts (3).

Le connecteur électrique comprend une embase A ayant un corps (1) présentant une jupe tubulaire avant (2) dans laquelle est retenue au moins une bille déplaçable radialement et une fiche ayant un corps (4) insérable dans la jupe et ayant au moins une empreinte de réception de la bille. La fiche a aussi une bague de verrouillage (6) repoussée axialement sur le corps vers une position avant de butée et une bague chasse-bille (7) interposée radialement entre le corps de fiche et la bague de verrouillage, présentant un clavetage coulissant avec la bague de verrouillage et ayant un diamètre interne tel qu'elle maintienne la bille en position interne lorsqu'elle la recouvre. Un manchon (24) présente un clavetage coulissant avec le corps de fiche. Un premier moyen élastique, interposé entre le corps de fiche et le manchon, repousse le manchon vers une position d'encliquetage avec la bague chasse-bille. Un second moyen élastique, interposé entre le manchon et la bague chasse-bille, tend à les écarter l'un de l'autre.

A connector (1,2) for printed circuit boards (12,13) comprises a housing (3,6) of insulating material and a plurality of signal (4,9) and ground (5,10) contacts regularly arranged in rows (R) and columns (C). At least a plurality of said contacts are provided with press-fit terminations (16) for connection to the printed circuit board (12,13). The housing is provided with shoulders (17), each of the shoulders (17) cooperating with a rear section (18) of a contact having a press-fit termination (16). Each shoulder (17) engages a rear section (18) at a location aligned with the corresponding press-fit termination (16).
