摘要:
A disposable absorbent article which is substantially flat prior to use for wearing adjacent a body discharge area having a body facing surface and a garment facing surface. The disposable absorbent article comprises a liquid pervious topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core has a body facing surface and a garment facing surface and comprises an expanding layer for expanding the article into a tridimensional structure while being worn by a user. The expanding layer is activated by body fluids, and comprises incisions on its body facing surface and/or on its garment facing surface, and apertures on its body facing surface and/or on its garment facing surface.

摘要:
A disposable absorbent article which is substantially flat prior to use for wearing adjacent a body discharge area having a longitudinal centreline and a lateral centreline orthogonal thereto and defining longitudinal and lateral directions respectively. The disposable absorbent article comprises a liquid pervious topsheet, a backsheet joined to said topsheet and an absorbent core intermediate the backsheet and the topsheet. The absorbent core comprises a sheet of compressed regenerated cellulose sponge for expanding the article into a tridimensional structure while being worn by a user. The compressed regenerated cellulose sponge sheet is activated by body fluids. The topsheet is capable of expanding as the absorbent article expands upon activation by body fluids.

The invention concerns a device for continuously producing a strip (1) which undulates at least in regions and which consists of thin, laminar material which can expand at least in the transverse direction. The device comprises a guide bed (2) comprising grooves which run parallel or obliquely relative to one another and into which the material can be urged by means of holding-down devices (5). Downstream of the guide bed (2) are means which prevent deformation of the waves already formed. The invention further concerns a process for continuously producing a strip which undulates at least in regions. Finally, the invention concerns absorbent articles containing undulating strips.

The present invention relates to an absorbent product, such as a sanitary napkin, a diaper, an incontinence guard or the like, comprising an absorbent body (1) enclosed between a liquid-impermeable bottom layer (3) and at least one liquid-permeable top layer (4) consisting of a net, a perforated film or a non-woven material. The purpose of the invention is to provide a product which combines the good re-wetting properties of the materials with an increased smoothness and comfort, and this has been solved by virtue of the fact that the liquid-permeable layer (4) terminates somewhat inside the longitudinal lateral edges of the product and that the longitudinal lateral edges of the top layer (4) are covered by and are fixed to a soft, skin-friendly material, e.g. a non-woven material or folded-in portions of the bottom layer (3).
摘要:
A disposable liquid-absorbing article, such as a diaper (10), sanitary towel or similar, having a substantially longitudinal shape and comprising an absorption body (12) and a cover (11) enclosing the absorption body with a liquid-pervious inner sheet (17) and an outer sheet (18) and contracting elastics members (23) in contact with at least one of the sheets to give the article its shape in an in-use position. The cover sheet on which the elastics members are applied, is connected to the inside and outside of the absorption body respectively, and said elastics members (23) extend with at least one substantially continually curved portion (24, 25) over at least an area of the absorption body. The strive of the elastics members to contract and the contact of said elastics members with one of said sheets, exert a tension force on said sheet in a direction towards the curvature centre of the elastics members, whereby this force is transferred and absorbed by the absorption body. The elastics members are applied with such a prestressing that said tension forces caused by the prestressing and the curvature radius deform the article for the formation of a, in relation to the plane of the article, transversal pool-wall along the curved elastics portions.

A disposable absorbent pad comprises a pad proper (1) adapted to present a boat-shape under the contraction of elastic members (10) contained in respective side flaps (8). Front and rear ends of said pad proper (1) are connected to front and rear ends of an annular elastic waist band (2) by respective pairs of elastic suspending straps (3).
摘要:
A unitary disposable absorbent article (20) such as a catamenial pad or incontinent pad is provided with an elasticized side flap (30) by operatively associating an elastic member (32) on both the upper surface and the lower surface of the side flap (30). The elastic member is preferably joined to the inner surface (48) of the side flap as well as the outer surface (46) of the side flap by folding it about the distal edge (50) of the side flap. In a preferred embodiment, the elastic member (32) comprises an elastomeric laminate of an elastomeric layer (42) and a coverstock layer (44), with the coverstock layer (44) being on the outside (46) of the product, so that the sanitary napkin is provided with soft longitudinal edges (38) which contact the wearer during use. In addition, the elastomeric laminate provides relatively low tension that while raising the side flaps (30) of the product to be a barrier against lateral leakage, also maintains the product in a shape which does not encourage fluid run-off or leakage at the ends of the pad as well as providing a bunching benefit.
