摘要: A beverage dispensing system and distributing process with such a system has a flexible bag 1 containing the beverage which may have carbon dioxide dissolved therein. The beverage is drawn off through a pipe 3 (assisted by a pump 8) for dispensing through nozzle 5 having a tap 6. Carbon dioxide, nitrogen (or other inert gas) and/or air gases are introduced into the beverage through a passage 11 by way of a fixed orifice restrictor 12 and a non-return valve 13. The pressure of the gas which is introduced is adjustable at 14 and baffles 15 can provide turbulence in the beverage during dispensing to promote the dissolution of the introduced gas therein.

摘要: A valve 3 for a beverage tap comprises a valve member 10 of a resiliently deformable material which coacts with a frusto-conical valve seat 9. A valve actuating mechanism 4 is connected by a rod 12 to the valve member 10 and when operated deforms the member 10 away from the valve seat 9 to allow fluid flow through the valve. Employing the natural resilience of the valve member 10 to open and close the valve simplifies the operation and construction of the valve.

摘要: Aspects of the present invention relate to a control system (30) for controlling a beverage dispenser (10) having a first sensory mode and a second sensory mode. The control system has a sensor (28) configured to detect if a handle (22) of the dispenser (10) has been moved from a closed position to an open position and to control a sensor output mode in dependence thereon. The beverage dispenser controller (30) is configured to identify the sensor output mode and outputs a signal to cause the beverage dispenser (10) to change from operating in the first sensory mode to operating in the second sensory mode based on the identified mode. A two-wire interface (32) connects the sensor and the beverage dispenser controller. The sensor (28) is a tilt sensor having a +volt terminal and a 0 volt terminal. The sensor (28) has a first sensor output mode in which there is a positive continuous voltage at the +volt terminal and a second sensor output mode in which there is a pulsed positive voltage at the +volt terminal.
