The pump inlet (32) is located in the pump chamber (30) and has a mouth (33) that is located below a level of the bottom of the collection chamber (28). Wash liquid is pumped through a venturi (42) in the collection chamber (28) to a drain (48).

摘要： A vapor compression refrigeration system (10) for cooling a cabinet (22) having a thermostat (19) for cycling the compressor (12) off and on to maintain a predetermined temperature range in the cabinet (22) includes a subcooling flow control valve (20) at the inlet to the capillary tube restriction (18). The valve (20) is operated by a sealed bellows (40) containing a refrigerant so that the valve (20) is responsive to the fluid entering the valve (20). The valve (20) is calibrated so that only a subcooled liquid refrigerant can flow through the valve (20) and if the entering refrigerant is above a predetermined level the valve (20) will close to completely block all flow between the condenser (14) and the evaporator (16), and the valve (20) will stay in the closed position at all times when the compressor (12) is not running.

摘要： A vacuum cleaner is provided having a handle assembly (200) and a floor engaging unit (100) pivotally mounted thereto, which includes a vacuum pump formed by a motor mounted to a base. One or more lamps are provided within the floor engaging unit (100) for directly light forardly of the vacuum cleaner through a horizontally elongated lens. The handle assembly (200) includes a housing (201) pivoted to the floor engaging unit (100), and a handle (202) extending from the opposite end thereof. A rigid or semirigid dirt tube extends longitudinally in one side of a recess in one side of the housing (201), and has a lower end coupled via a flexible tube to the outlet of the floor engaging unit. The dirt tube has a forwardly extending port in its other end to receive a disposable dust bag adapted to be removably assembled in the front recess. A further recess is provided in the rear of the housing for releasably receiving a rechargeable sealed lead acid battery assembly box, which includes the battery, a recharging circuit including a recharging light, and a circuit breaker that is accessible at the rear of the vacuum cleaner for being manually reset. A control board is provided at the upper end of the housing (201), including a switch enabling operation of the machine either with or without use of the lights. An indicator, such as a row of LEDs is also provided on the control board, to indicate the charge condition of the battery to the user.

The preferred embodiment of the string trimmer head (1) includes a spool member (40) within the body member (10), the spool member (40) being coaxially positioned within the body member (10) and being rotatable therewith. A connecting means attached to the body member (10) includes a cam pin (25a) which runs within the cam channel (60). Upon starting the rotation, the cam pin 25a runs along an arcuate segment of the cam channel (60) (permitting relative rotation between the spool member (40) and the body member (10) thereby indexing a length of line (35)) until contacting a switchback (57) stopping point. The cam pin (25a) is biased to move along the switchback (57) and resets along the switchback (57) upon stopping of rotation.

摘要： A gasoline engine driven flexible line trimmer is provided with a modularly constructed power head section which significantly facilitates the original manufacturing assembly, and subsequent service disassembly, of the power head. In a clutch drive embodiment thereof, the power head has four readily separable modules - an engine module comprising a main engine shroud to which the engine is internally secured; a fan housing module; a starter module comprising a starter housing and a recoil starter mechanism retained therein; and a coupling module comprising a clutch housing carrying therein structure for operatively interconnecting the engine's clutch to the flexible drive shaft disposed within the trimmer shaft. In a direct drive version thereof, the power head has two separable modules - the engine module and a combined fan housing, starter and coupling module defined by a single housing within which the starter and coupling structure is carried. The main shroud is provided with a specially designed wall section which supports the engine, defines a closure wall of its crankcase, forms an air-fuel mixture passage for a carburetor externally supported on the wall section and supports a reed valve within the crankcase. The shroud defines an external protective recess in which the carburetor is positioned and, in one embodiment, defines a portion of the engine's fuel tank. Pull rope installation in the starter mechanism is facilitated and made safer by pulley locking and retaining structure incorporated in the starter module, and improved air filter element sealing is provided by virtue of a specially designed air filter housing and choke plate assembly associated with the carburetor. Shaft vibration transmitted to the trimmer user through the supporting shoulder strap structure is significantly reduced by a specially designed resilient strap connector assembly securable to the trimmer shaft.
