Detergent laundry product compositions containing from about 1% to about 80%, by weight of the composition, of a detersive surfactant that is an anionic surfactant, cationic surfactant, nonionic surfactant, amphoteric surfactant, zwitterionic surfactant, or a mixture thereof; from about 0.1% to about 10%, by weight of the composition, of a water insoluble fabric care benefit agent; from about 0.01% to about 5%, by weight of the composition, of a delivery enhancing agent; and wherein the ratio of the delivery enhancing agent to the fabric care benefit agent is from about 1:50 to about 1:1.

The invention pertains to a nonaqueous bleaching detergent composition comprising a dispersion of: a) from 20% to 85% by weight of a solid bleaching agent, b) from 0.1 to 10% by weight of a thickening agent, c) from 0 to 0.3% by weight of a thickening agent activator, d) from 0 to 23% by weight of an auxiliary compound, and e) at least 14.9% by weight up to a total of 100% by weight of a nonaqueous liquid, which is chemically inert to the bleaching agent and wherein the solubility of the bleaching agent is less than 10 mg/l. The composition is effective for washing machines, dishwashing and cleaning in place applications in removing coffee, tea, and wine stains and the like. The composition can be made in substantially higher concentrations than prior art compositions, and is nevertheless stable under storage conditions.
