    摘要： The present invention refers to the ammunition magazine with an improved base locking, consisting of: the hollow magazine body (1), the follower (2), the spring (3) and the magazine base (4). The magazine body is equipped with track guides (lb) that correspond to the grooves (4b) embodied on the magazine base (4), that the magazine base is guided onto. The spring (3) is spirally embodied in a way that the first turn fully encompasses the surface of the magazine base (4) and that in the compressed state the rest of the spring, without the first turn, can fully fit into the follower (2) pressed by the said spring. The magazine base (4) has a catch (4a) on one side and a hole (4c) positioned right next to the catch. The magazine body (1) has a slit (la) that allows the catch (4a) to pass unobstructed into the magazine body (1) and catch the detent spot (3a) on the spring (3) positioned inside the magazine body (1). The advantage of this technical solution is the improved safety of magazine base locking to the magazine body and simpler construction.

    摘要： The present invention is an ammunition magazine, preferably made of a glass fiber reinforced polymer, utilizing a structurally enhancing ridge (19), angular guide rails (31) and a follower (30) made to interface with said guide rails to reduce wobble. The preferred embodiment also features a protective cover (40) that distributes forces from the follower spring (35) to more structurally sound areas of the magazine, thus reducing feed end splay, and an ammunition indication system comprised of at least one window (15) and a noticeable marker on the follower spring (35). The follower (30) and magazine casing (10) are also designed to interface to prevent the follower from popping out of the feed end and the floor plate of the magazine utilizes a locking plate and sliding relationship between the floor plate, locking plate and magazine to secure the floor plate onto the magazine casing. The cover (40) features built in tools (43) for, among other things, unloading and disassembling the magazine.
