摘要: Bei Einseitenbandmischern, die üblicherweise aus zwei Gegentaktmischern bestehen, die mit 90° Phasenunterschied in den Oszillator- und Zwischenfrequenzanschlüssen betrieben werden, werden hohe Anforderungen an Nebenwellenfreiheit gestellt. Die erste Oszillatoroberwelle stellt dabei das stärkste Störsignal dar. Besonders problematisch ist dies dann, wenn dem Mischer ein Verstärker folgt, wie z. B. bei Richtfunksendern. Die erfindungsgemäßen Lösungen sehen eine solche Zusammenschaltung der beiden Gegentaktmischer vor, daß sich die ersten Oszillatoroberwellen entweder auslöschen oder mittels eines Magischen-T's auf einen Abschlußwiderstand geführt werden.

Local oscillation signals are supplied from a single local oscillation circuit (8) to mixer circuits (11a,11 b) of electric signal processing circuits (4, 5) of two or more systems, and a mixer diode (27) of each ofthe mixercircuits (11a, 11 b) is biased with a direct current. Even the mixer diode (27) of the signal processing circuit of the system that is not in operation is biased with the direct current at all times, presenting advantage in regard to stable operation, small size, light weight, and low cost.

摘要: A finline detector (100 or 110) comprises a dielectric substrate-mounted circuit disposed within a millimeter waveguide, said substrate circuit comprising a substrate (114) with a diode (224) mounted thereon in series with the waveguide (16). The mounting of a diode (224), which may have a characteristic impedance substantially lower than the characteristic impedance of a realizable finline, in series with the waveguide transmission line minimizes sensitivity to the high capacitance and therefore low impedance realizable with such a detection diode. Furthermore, the transmission line may be terminated more easily in a wideband termination (50), thus increasing the effective bandwidth of operation of the detector. Two representative embodiments of the invention are, for example, an unbalanced detector (100) and a balanced detector (110). Each embodiment includes a detection device, namely a diode (224, 324), coupled in series with the finline transmission line (101). Capacitance means (34,134,36,136,38,138) are also provided.

摘要: A microwave integrated circuit frequency converter includes a first filter (30) for a signal frequency and a second filter (32) for a local oscillator frequency connected at one terminal thereof with one terminal of the signal frequency filter (30) by a line (38), (40) having a predetermined electrical length. A parallel stub line (42) is short-circuited at one end thereof. A diode (34) is connected at its one end to a third filter (36) which is adapted to reflect the signal and local oscillator frequencies while passing an intermediate frequency. The parallel stub line (42) and diode (34) are connected at their other ends to a specific mixing point P on the connecting line (38, 40) at which the impedance is opened for the signal frequency when the local oscillator frequency filter (32) is seen from the signal frequency filter (30) side and the impedance is opened for the local oscillator frequency when the signal frequency filter (30) is seen from the local oscillator frequency filter (32) side.
