    摘要: Disclosed is a multimedia system using a mobile communication terminal and an external connection device for the same. The multimedia system uses a video/audio output device, a peripheral device, and an external connection device. The multimedia system includes a mobile communication terminal having a video/audio output function and a peripheral device control function so that the mobile communication terminal outputs images and sounds by using the video/audio output device and controls the peripheral device; and an external connection device for connecting the mobile communication terminal to the video/audio output device and the peripheral device, relaying the images and sounds from the mobile communication terminal to the video/audio output device, and relaying data transmitted/received between the mobile communication terminal and the peripheral device. When multimedia data is reproduced by using a mobile communication terminal, it is easily connected to an external video/audio output device (e.g. a TV) or a peripheral device (e.g. a computer, a mouse, a joystick) to construct a multimedia system.

    摘要: The invention relates to an electronic device enabling remote management of a printer, copier or fax machine (henceforth referred to as remote element), without the need of connecting a computer. The device consists of three modules: the SMS terminal, the microcontroller chip and the box. The controller chip uses a digital system comprising a central processing unit, for instance a microcontroller, an assembly of peripheral integrated circuits which enable the following system functions: 1) SMS terminal serial connection, for instance to a UART; connection to the remote element by means of a port expansion chip, for instance the integrated 8255; 3) storage of the program and data in a local memory; 4) management of the input system and protection against errors.
