A resin coating 12 is formed on a surface 2A and a rear surface 2B (sliding surface) of the swash plate 2 which slides with the shoe 4. The resin coating 12 includes a structure whereby multiple hexagonal cylinder bodies 12B are fabricated on a surface of a substrate 11 and an end surface 12C of each cylinder body 12B forms a sliding surface which slides with the shoe 4. In addition, a honeycomb shaped groove 12A is formed at an adjacent position of each cylinder body 12B forming a storage part of a lubricant O and a container part for foreign objects 15.
