摘要： An arrangement for feeding flat, thin objects, such as valuable documents in the form of banknotes, cheques, etc., along a transport path (10), comprises object straightening and repositioning means which straighten or reposition the objects as they pass sequentially along the transport path. The straightening means includes rotating driven object straightening rollers (111, 112) which lie briefly against the objects as the objects pass along the transport path (10) According to the invention the straightening means comprises two rotatable, driven straightening rollers (111, 112) each being mounted on a driving shaft (113; 51, 52) and intended to lie in abutment with said objects. The straightening means further includes control means (114-117; 51-54) which causes the rollers (111, 112) to move in accordance with the deviation of respective objects from an intended correct position on the transport path.

摘要： An arrangement for the infeeding and outfeeding of valuable documents, such as banknotes, cheques, etc., comprising command means (10) for controlling the functions of the arrangement from without, and storage means (11-13) for storing valuable documents fed into the arrangement between mutually coacting belts (11, 12, 13).
The storage means (11-13) is allocated well-defined and registered document storage positions (113, 114, 115, ... 11n) for incoming documents. A detector means (412) functions to identify an incoming valuable document prior to storage of the document in a well-defined and unoccupied position. The arrangement also includes a memory means (14) for storing information relating to respective positions of incoming documents, and path selector means (16) which when in a first position (161) enables valuable documents to be fed to the storage means (11-13), and which when in a second position (162) enables, in accordance with information obtained from the memory means (14), valuable documents earlier stored in the document storage means (11-13) to be dispensed from the arrangement in response to a command entered through the medium of the command means (10).
This enables the arrangement to receive a mixture of different valuable documents on each infeed occasion and to dispense on each outfeed occasion a desired number and desired type of valuable documents predetermined through the command means (10).

摘要： An arrangement for detecting bank notes having magnetic properties, comprising transport means (11) for transport­ing documents past a magnetic detector (12-14). The ob­ject of the invention is to increase the possibility and the reliability of distinguishing bank notes which are not genuine from genuine bank notes and bank notes of a given denomination/kind from bank notes of another denomination/­kind.
The detector includes a permanent magnet (12) and a mag­netic circuit (13) having detector means (14) for detect­ing changes in the magnetic field through the magnetic circuit (13). The output side of the detecting means (14) is connected to a signal processing means (20) for gener­ating signals in response to the magnetic properties of bank notes transported through the arrangement.
The magnetic circuit (13) includes an air gap (131) which is located closely adjacent the bank note transport path (0-0). The magnetic flux of the permanent magnet (12) in the air gap (131) is directed in a plane at right angles to the direction of the transport path (0-0) closely ad­jacent the air gap.

摘要： An arrangement for feeding sheets from a bundle of sheets includes a wheel which, in operation, is located at one end of the bundle and which functions to feed-out the outermost sheets of the bundle, and lifting means for lifting the bundle in a direction towards the wheel. The lifting means includes a post and a bundle-carrying plate which is movable up and down the post. The arrangement includes a spring element (13) which functions to lock the plate (12) to the post (11) in a rest state and has a free-end which is fitted to the post and defines with the longitudinal axis of the post an angle other than 90° and whose remaining end is attached to the plate (12) and movable perpendicular to the post. The arrangement also includes an actuator (14) which is fitted to the post (11) close to the spring element (13) and which is releasably attached mechanically to a drive means for moving the plate (12) relative to the post (11). As the actuator (14) is moved along the post (11), the actuator will act on the spring element (13) so as to release the plate and enable it to move along the post.

摘要： An operator console for data communication includes a keyboard and a ciphering deciphering/unit. The console is divided into two separate units which can be connected electrically together, namely a keyboard (10) and a security module (11). The keyboard (10) includes keys (101), logical unit (21) with memory (211) and a ciphering/deciphering circuit (22). The securing module (11) includes a logical unit (31) having a memory (311), a ciphering/deciphering cir­cuit (32), and a random generator (34) which, in conjunc­tion with keyboard communication, randomly generates a code necessary to effect the communication and transfers this code to the keyboard memory (211) and replaces a code previously stored therein. Connected between the input side of the keyboard (10) and the memory (211) is a security circuit which disconnects a conduit (240) to the keyboard memory (211), subsequent to a first transfer of a code from the security module (11), and connects instead a further conductor (241) to the memory (211) over the ciphering/deciphering circuit (22).

摘要： A lockable cassette (1) having a lid (10) is closed and locked when removed from a cassette casing but is released when inserted into the casing by virtue of the actuation of a means (12-13) which functions to move a lock bolt (11) from a lid-latching starting position to a lid release position. The means (12-13) includes an electric relay (12) and a two-arm lever (13). The core (121) of the relay (12) is attached to one arm (131) of the two-arm lever and is actuable by a first pressure spring (18), wherein the other arm (132) of the lever forms an abutment surface or stop surface for the lock bolt (11) in its lid latching position when the relay is inactive. The arrangement further includes a second pressure spring (14) which is attached to a counterweight (143) which when the relay is inactive lightly abuts, but is not fastened to, the other arm (132) of the two-arm lever (13) for actuation of the lever (13) in a direction opposite to the direction in which the core (121) moves to allow the lock bolt (11) to occupy the release position. The first pressure spring (18), the second pressure spring (14) and the counterweight (143) are dimensioned to balance the mass of the relay core (121).
