In particular, described herein are electronic vaporizers and methods of using them that determine a dose/amount of vapor and/or a material in the vapor based primarily or exclusively on the electrical and thermal properties, e.g., power or energy applied to the vaporizing element (e.g., heating coil) and the temperature of the material immediately before and as it is vaporized. Dose information may be used to control operation of the device and/or reported to the user.

摘要： On-demand, hand-held vaporizer that operates primarily by convection. The vaporizer is configured to permit very rapid (e.g., within a few seconds) heating of air drawn through an oven chamber to a predetermined or selectable vaporizing temperature to vaporize a material (e.g., loose leaf plant material, etc.) that is held in the oven chamber. The vaporizer provides efficient transfer of air being heated as well as rapid delivery of vaporizable material to a user.

摘要： A nicotine salt liquid formulation for generating an inhalable aerosol in an electronic cigarette comprising nicotine salt that forms about 0.5% to about 20% nicotine is provided. Provided herein is a method of delivering nicotine to a user comprising operating an electronic cigarette to a user wherein the electronic cigarette comprises a nicotine salt formulation comprising a nicotine salt in a biologically acceptable liquid carrier wherein an acid used to form said nicotine salt is characterized by vapor pressure >20 mmHg at 200 °C, and inhaling an aerosol generated from the nicotine salt formulation heated by the electronic cigarette.
