The vaporizer is configured to permit very rapid (e.g., within a few seconds) heating of air drawn through an oven chamber to a predetermined or selectable vaporizing temperature to vaporize a material (e.g., loose leaf plant material, etc.) that is held in the oven chamber. The vaporizer provides efficient transfer of air being heated as well as rapid delivery of vaporizable material to a user.

摘要: A vaporization device comprises a resistive heater, a measurement circuit to measure the resistance of the resistive heater at discrete intervals, and a microcontroller to determine a baseline resistance after a period of time has passed since power was last supplied to the resistive heater and a target resistance. Changes in the resistance during heating are used to control the power applied to the heater. The measurement circuit may comprise an operational amplifier configured to receive an input from a Wheatstone bridge.

In particular a vaporizer device (100, 200) comprising an absolute pressure sensor (604) positioned to detect a first pressure of air along an airflow path within the vaporizer device and an additional absolute pressure sensor (606) positioned to detect a second pressure of air representative of ambient air pressure to which the vaporizer device is exposed; and a controller configured to determine, based on at least the first signal and the second signal, that a puff is occurring, and causing causing resistive heating of a vaporizable material for forming of an inhalable aerosol.
