摘要:
A power injector (302) with syringe communication logic (316) is disclosed. A communication with a syringe (320) for the power injector (302) may be initiated via data provided by one or more of a tilt sensor (306), a syringe clamp sensor (308), a prefilled syringe sensor (310), or an imaging energy output sensor (312).
摘要:
Systems and methods are presented for the visual indication of whether a power injector has discharged fluid from a power injector syringe in a previous medical procedure. In this regard, the systems and methods generally provide for a power injector and a syringe for use with the power injector. The syringe includes a visual indicator (164) that moves between a first state and a second state at approximately the same time that the power injector discharges fluid from the syringe such that an operator may view the change in state.

The present invention relates to pyrazine derivatives such as those represented by Formulas I and II. X 1 to X 4 of Formulas I and II may be characterized as electron withdrawing groups, while Y' to Y 4 of Formulas I and II may be characterized as electron donating groups. Pyrazine derivatives of the present invention may be utilized in assessing organ (e.g., kidney) function. In a particular example, an effective amount of a pyrazine derivative that is capable of being renally cleared may be administered into a patient's body. The pyrazine derivative may capable of one or both absorbing and emanating spectral energy of at least about 400nm (e.g., visible and/or infrared light). At least some of the derivative that is in the body may be exposed to spectral energy and, in turn, spectral energy may emanate from the derivative. This emanating spectral energy may be detected and utilized to determine renal function of the patient.

A medical fluid delivery system (300) includes workflow construction logic (304) to create one or more workflows (307) from a plurality of available workflow components (306). The created workflows (307) may each contain a proper subset of workflow components from the plurality of available workflow components (306). The workflows (307) may be created using the workflow construction logic (304) and a user interface (302) by selecting and arranging graphical elements representing workflow components (306). The constructed workflows (307) may correspond with the practices of a given care group. The medical fluid delivery system (300) may further include workflow execution logic (305) operable to execute the workflows (307). When executed, the workflows (307) may sequentially guide a user through each of the included workflow components (306) using a fled interface. The nomenclature displayed by the workflow components (306) during workflow execution may be customizable.

A radiopharmaceutical containment or pig, in certain embodiments, may include a plurality of cavities or chambers to accommodate a syringe and other medical devices. For example, a syringe may be housed in a first chamber of the radiopharmaceutical containment, and a tube coupled to the syringe may be housed in a second chamber and extractable via a passage in the radiopharmaceutical containment. In some embodiments, a user may extract a radiopharmaceutical from the radiopharmaceutical containment without having to remove the syringe from the containment. The radiopharmaceutical containment may include radiation shielding, an aperture to enable a ram of a power injector to engage or interact with a syringe inside the containment, a movable shutter over the aperture, various labels, and/or an integral storage compartment.

Control logic (110) for a power injector is disclosed, where this power injector control logic (110) includes a syringe fill protocol (114), a pressure calibration protocol (116), a pressure monitoring protocol (118), and an injection protocol (120). The power injector control logic (110) is configured to execute the pressure calibration protocol (116) on each execution of the syringe fill protocol (114). The pressure calibration protocol (116) updates the pressure monitoring protocol (118), which is executed during execution of the injection protocol (120).
