    摘要: A dental post consisting of fibre-reinforced material with substantially uniformly directed fibers (8) and mountable in a tooth root canal for fixing a dental prosthetic structure on a tooth stump and a method for its fabrication.
    For improving the light conduction properties within the post, at least a fraction of said fibers (8) are adapted for light conduction within said post and said post comprises a tapered portion extending towards its second end (4), wherein at least a fraction of said light conducting fibers (8) extend from the first end (3) of said post to the circumferential surface (2) of said tapered portion.
    An advantageous fabrication method of the dental post comprises forming of a composite structure (1) of uniform cross-section with substantially uniformly directed light conducting fibers (8) in a pultrusion process and shaping of at least a portion of the circumferential surface of said composite structure (1) in order to provide a tapered portion extending towards the second end (4) of said composite structure.

    摘要: The tooth root channel anchorage assembly comprises a core member (1) to be fixed within the tooth root channel (11) and a post (7) to be inserted into the core member having a throughgoing bore (4). The core member comprises a crown part (3) and an anchorage part (2) to be fixed within the root canal, the surface of the anchorage part (2) having a substantially hyperbolic form. Preferably the crown part of the core member as well as a part of the surface of the post have also a substantially hyperbolic form. The hyperbolic form allows a better anchoring and distributing of the load, thus reducing the danger of breaking of the post and root canal, still allowing the access to the root canal before the post is inserted.

    摘要: The invention relates to a dental post configured to be fitted within a dental cavity (67, 68) of a tooth (62) being restored. The post comprises a head portion (7, 47, 57, 77) and a foot portion (8, 78) consecutively arranged in an axial direction (6) of the post, said axial direction (6) being defined as a direction in which a central axis (5) of the head portion (7, 47, 57, 77) extends. The foot portion (8, 78) comprises a free lower end (3) such that the post can be inserted into the dental cavity (67, 68) in said axial direction (6) with said lower end (3) inwardly facing a closed inner end (64) of the dental cavity (67, 68). At least the foot portion (8, 78) is composed of a composite material comprising a resin matrix reinforced with fibers.     To allow a better adaptability of the dental post to a variety of naturally occurring dental cavities, the invention proposes that the foot portion (8, 78) comprises a plurality of rods (14, 15, 24) being separated from one another along the axial direction (6) of the post such that each rod (14, 15, 24) is bendable in a transverse direction with respect to said axial direction (6).
