Digital-printing method performed with the above photographic printer (10) and comprising a preliminary step of loading the paper (18) and a printing step, the printing step including the steps of: feeding of the paper (18) by means of the first pair of loading rollers (15a, 15b) and by the second pair of drawing rollers (16a, 16b) along a segment equal to the length of the photograph to be printed; clamping of the first pair of loading rollers (15a, 15b); backward drawing of the paper (18) by the second pair of drawing rollers (16a, 16b) actuated with controlled steps and simultaneous printing by the printing device (13), the paper (18) being arranged in the buffer-stock chamber (20) according to a loop having a substantially U-shaped conformation due to the weight of the paper (18); forward movement of the printed paper (18) and shearing thereof.
