The invention concerns a microsystem capable of being used in a switching electrical appliance for switching an electric circuit between an open position and a closed position. More specifically, said microsystem comprises a part (1, 10, 100) mobile between two stable states, bearing at least one mobile contact (6, 60, 600) urged into contact, in one of the two stable states, with one or several stationary contacts (21; 22) of a stationary part to close the electric circuit. The invention is characterized in that a junction element (3a, 3b, 30a, 30b, 300) provides the junction between the mobile part (1, 10, 100) and the stationary part (2, 4, 40, 41, 400) and the junction element (3a, 3b, 30a, 30b, 300) applies mechanical stresses between the mobile part (1, 10, 100) and the stationary part to maintain the mobile part (1, 10, 100) in one of its two stable states.

In accordance with the invention, the two-wire switch (1) comprises a measuring and control circuit (5) for measuring the dropout voltage (Vh) across the switch (3) when the switch (3) is in conductive state and for regulating the resistance (Rk) of the switch (3) simultaneously with the dropout voltage (Vh) on the basis of the measured dropout voltage (Vh). The invention yields the advantage of low switching losses and of optimised voltage across the switch, i.e. voltage level. The voltage level is determined by the technique used for generating the operating voltage of the control unit.
