The adapter gets vehicle driving information through the input connector (15) and transmits to the microcontroller (22) through the CAN transceiver (21) to perform interpretation and format conversion, then sends the converted vehicle driving information to an external electronic device through the first output connector (16). With the format of vehicle driving information converted by the adapter, the information can be directly displayed or stored in various electronic devices without specific specification.

A method for monitoring tire safety is adopted for use on a vehicle (1) which is equipped with a plurality of tires (2), a plurality of tire detection units (3) located respectively on each tire (2) to detect the interior conditions thereof, and an electronic device (4) which forms information link with each tire detection unit (3). The method includes: each tire detection unit (3) measures a corresponding tire measurement parameter; next, the tire measurement parameter is set in a tire status variation calculation formula and a contour variation calculation formula to calculate a plurality of parameters that represent each tire (2); next, calculate variation amounts of the parameters in an inspection time and convert to a status gradient data; then judge whether the status gradient data are coincided. Redo execution of the previous steps if the judged outcome is positive; otherwise generate an alarm signal about an abnormal condition through an electronic device (4) to alert the vehicle driver.

A tire pressure monitoring system (1) includes a plurality of tire pressure sensing modules (2) and an information display module (3) in information connection with the tire pressure sensing modules (2). The tire pressure sensing modules (2) are installed at respective tires of a vehicle to transmit tire condition information (D2) of the respective tires and device identification codes (D1) to the information display module (3). The information display module (3) includes a data processing unit (32) associating each of the device identification codes (D1) with a device selection code and a stepless knob (34) controlled to output at least one selection signal to the data processing unit (32). Upon receiving the selection signal, the data processing unit (32) determines the corresponding device selection code according to the selection signal to read the corresponding tire condition information (D2), thereby allowing a user to quickly learn the tire condition of any tire of the vehicle.
