    pair sensor reading data with a tyre identifier,

    wherein the diagnostic system (200) maps the sensor (206) using sensor readings and
    provides mapping information for the sensor (206) to a gateway/receiver of an electronic control unit of the vehicle.

    Die Sensor-IC (2) hat einen internen Speicher, in welchem ausführbare Anweisungen und Daten speicherbar sind, welche bei Ausführung die Erfassung und Übermittlung von Druckmessdaten bewirken. Eine Spannungsversorgung (12) ist ebenfalls in dem 20 Gehäuse (1) angeordnet und mit der Sensor-IC (2) gekoppelt.
    Die Sensor-IC (2) ist weiterhin mit einem im Gehäuse (1) angeordneten zusätzlichen Speicherbaustein (15) gekoppelt, wobei in dem Speicherbaustein eine Mehrzahl von unterschiedlichen Datenpaketen mit jeweiligen Anweisungen oder 25 Daten gespeichert sind. Der zusätzliche Speicherbaustein (15) ist durch den Microcontroller (3) ansteuerbar, um ein ausgewähltes Datenpaket in den internen Speicher der Sensor-IC zu kopieren, wobei der zusätzliche Speicherbaustein über eine serielle Datenschnittstelle mit dem Microcontroller der 30 Sensor-IC gekoppelt ist.
