    摘要： A rotary latch and its method of operation, the latch being caused to move between a position flush with a surrounding surface and a protruding position as the latch is moved between its latched position and its unlatched position by a rotary drive means (14); the drive means (14) by reason of its protruding position, being readily visible to indicate the unlatched condition; the rotary drive means (14) including a control sleeve having radially outwardly facing detent pockets (15,16,17) engaged by a radially movable pin (23), one socket (15) being engaged when the latch is in itsflush-latched condition, a second socket (17) being engaged when in its fully unlatched condition, and a third socket (16) being engaged as a secondary latch.

    摘要： A shackle protective padlock mount for use with a conventional padlock having a shackle (14) of inverted U-shape with oppositely located legs. The mount includes a pair of shackle receivers (34) adapted for attachment to the structures which are to be locked together. The receivers have openings (36) for receiving the shackle. The receivers are constrained from moving apart by integral tabs (38) which extend laterally outwardly of the respective receivers. The tabs are adapted to engage the oppositely located shackle legs to prevent separation of the receivers and deny access to the shackle by cutting tools or the like. The receivers are adapted to accommodate different sizes of shackles.

    摘要： A strut assembly having first (10) and second (16) sections pivotally linked together. An overlying sleeve (36) is extendable to lock the sections together in the extended position and retractable to allow folding of the sections relative to one another. A member (44) is arranged at the joint between sections and biased to extend outwardly into interference with the path of extension of the sleeve (36). A link (26) linking the first and second sections cooperates with the member (44) to retract same when the strut assembly is collapsed in order that the sleeve (36) will automatically lock the sections together when the assembly is again extended.
