    摘要: A swivelling lever control that can be padlocked for closing switchboard cabinet doors or the like has a trough (18) set on the outer surface (16) of the door (14) or the like and in which the locking shaft (32) is arranged. The actuating lever (28) is articulated at the free ends of the trough (18) so as to swivel out of the trough (18) about an axis (30) transverse to the shaft axis (32). A projection (46, 52) supported on the swivelling lever control (10) has at its free end an eyelet arranged in such a manner that when the lever (28) is swivelled into the trough, a padlock inserted through the eyelet prevents the actuating lever (28) from swivelling out of the trough. According to the invention, the projection can slide, rotate and/or swivel on the actuating lever (28) up to a second fixed projection on the actuating lever, with which it is then aligned, allowing a padlock to be inserted through both eyelets.

    摘要: A shackle protective padlock mount for use with a conventional padlock having a shackle (14) of inverted U-shape with oppositely located legs. The mount includes a pair of shackle receivers (34) adapted for attachment to the structures which are to be locked together. The receivers have openings (36) for receiving the shackle. The receivers are constrained from moving apart by integral tabs (38) which extend laterally outwardly of the respective receivers. The tabs are adapted to engage the oppositely located shackle legs to prevent separation of the receivers and deny access to the shackle by cutting tools or the like. The receivers are adapted to accommodate different sizes of shackles.

The system includes stored expected feature counts and variances for a list of features found in a natural language, where a feature can be a character or sequence of characters. Expected character counts and variances are stored for multiple languages to be considered during language identification. At run-time, one or more languages are identified for a text sample based on comparing actual and expected character counts. The present methods can be combined with upstream analyzing of Unicode ranges for characters in the text sample to limit the number of languages considered. Further, n-gram methods can be used in downstream processing to select the most probable language from among the languages identified by the present system and methods.
