The invention relates to a method of combined cell digestion and extraction of oil-containing seeds having an oil content of > 30% by mass, wherein production of a slurry from the oilseeds and ethanol is followed by a combination of cell digestion with a subsequent ethanolic extraction, wherein the smaller portion of the oil present in the seed cells of the oilseed and the alcohol-soluble constituents present therein are transferred to the ethanol in accordance with the dissolution capacity of the ethanol for the oil and the alcohol-soluble constituents, and another, greater portion of the oil is displaced from the seed cells of the oilseed by the ethanol, forming a free oil phase in the ethanol. The free oil phase is removed and, according to the invention, has semi-raffinate quality. The complexity of refining that has been reduced thereby is a result and an advantage of the method of the invention.

The invention relates to a method for determining the occupancy of a parking area with at least one entrance and exit (11, 12), in particular for determining the occupancy of a parking area with marked parking spaces for motor vehicles on highways (9) and motorways. According to the invention, image data of a vehicle driving into the parking area is detected by a sensor unit (4), said image data reproducing the outer appearance of the vehicle. Characteristic features of the entering vehicle are determined from the obtained image data by means of a feature extraction process and stored in a memory unit together with the time at which the vehicle entered the parking area. Image data is likewise detected for a vehicle exiting the parking area by means of a sensor unit (4), and characteristic features are extracted. The exiting vehicle is identified by comparing the characteristic features of the exiting vehicle with the characteristic features of all the vehicles available in the memory unit. In the event of a match, i.e. a clear identification of the vehicle, the vehicle is removed from the memory unit. If the exiting vehicle cannot be clearly identified, said exiting vehicle is no longer taken into consideration. Furthermore, the parking time of each vehicle which can be found in the memory unit is continuously calculated. If the calculated parking time of a vehicle exceeds a specified parking time, said vehicle is removed from the memory unit. The occupancy of the parking area is calculated by adding the vehicles stored in the memory unit.

The invention relates to a method for producing foam glass by recycling a waste glass mixture containing screen glass from television sets, computers, or other monitors and glass from fluorescent tubes and/or energy-efficient light bulbs and/or photovoltaic systems, comprising the steps performed in the following sequence: separately grinding individual fractions of the waste glass, which originate from different sources, to form glass powder; mixing a glass sintering mass comprising components of the various glass powder fractions and an inorganic carbon carrier substance as an activator in a dry process without adding water or other liquids; and thermally treating the glass sintering mass, wherein the glass sintering mass is first subjected to a sintering process and later to a foaming process, which occurs at temperatures in a temperature range of 855 °C to 890 °C, and the arising foam glass is subsequently cooled down. According to the invention, the glass sintering mass, which is composed of thermally sintered glass powder and activator, is composed of at least 10 wt% of screen glass when 85 to 90 wt% originate from screen glass and glass from fluorescent tubes and/or energy-efficient light bulbs and/or photovoltaic systems.
