    摘要: Disclosed is a fiber optic backplane connector in which there are a plurality of axially spaced circuit board engaging springs (90, 94, 98) on one side of the exterior housing (46). By means of this arrangement a single connector is engageable with a number of thicknesses of circuit board (10). Also disclosed are two resilient metal arms which extend from a metal plate on one side of the connector to engage the medical flange (56) to enable the connector to be assembled without ultrasonic welding. A method for using this connector to connect fiber optic cables as well as to dissipate static electrical charges therein is also disclosed.

    摘要: A novel process for atomizing a liquid stream is disclosed and includes introducing the liquid to a nozzle including a fluid conduit, an outlet orifice and swirl-imparting means thereby at least partially atomizing the liquid stream to form an atomized liquid stream. Preferably, the atomized liquid stream does not contact a fluid deflecting device upon exit from the outlet orifice. This novel process can be utilized in a fluidized catalytic cracking process prior to contact with a fluidized catalyst or in a coking process for atomizing an oil stream.

    摘要: A memory card connector (1) which comprises a header (10) and a carrier (12) connected to the header, wherein the header is provided with a plurality of pins (101) extended in both inward and outward directions. The inward pins are used for inserting a memory card to be received in the carrier. A vertical circuit board (14) is electrically and securely connected to the outward pins (103) of the header. The lower end of the vertical circuit board is detachably inserted into a connector (3) securely mounted to the surface of a mainboard (2) for electrical connection. Alternately a horizontal circuit board (414) may be used to which the outward pins (530) are diagonally attached and which is connected to the mainboard by a vertical connector (403). The outward pins (101) are shielded by means of a conductive shield (322, 322') and that conductive shield is grounded to the mainboard through a ground plane (350') in the vertical or horizontal circuit board.

    摘要: An ejecting apparatus includes an eject plate (26) that has an engaging tab (32) for engaging with a memory card and is guided in the direction in which the memory card is inserted into and removed from a connector body (10). A link member (36) is provided on the connector body (10) so that it may be moved rotationally around a fulcrum (38). A push rod (56) presses one end of the link member and moves the link member rotationally on the fulcrum. The link member has a first force applying section (40) that disconnects the memory card from terminals (22) by moving the eject plate (26) in the removal direction when the link member is moved rotationally by the push rod. A projecting tab (44) at the second force applying section moves the memory card M further in the removal direction by directly moving the memory card after it is disconnected from the connector terminals. The projecting bump section (40) is located on the link member (36) between the fulcrum (38) and the projecting tab (44).
