The load may be determined by means of a scale and used to determine the control power value for the power control unit (1200) or a temperature-over-time behavior in the form of a linear slope may be determined that will be compared to the behavior of an empty oven in order to determine a load inside the oven and on the basis of the load inquire a table of results of previous experiments to determine a corresponding power level. Also mathematical functions describing the non-linear behavior of the oven (2000) in the presence of food may be used in order to determine the proper power.

In particular, in the area of a flange that extends from one of the structural parts out-wardly (6448), a bending area (6449) is provided that extends all along the flange in a right angle or only in parts of flange where a special structural support is required, such as parts that contain an opening (2700). The bending area provides structural support in a different direction of the structural support that is provided by the flange and thus further improves the stability of the sidewalls and better prevents cracking and chipping off of the enamel coating of the oven cavity in an improved way prolonging the lifespan in view of high temperature gradients.
