The present invention relates to a mechanical torque transmission element (1) such as a nut having a thread (4) on the inner surface (3) of the central hole (2). The thread (4) is obtained by rolling. Nevertheless, no double crests are present because, during rolling, two elevated portions (61) of the crest portion (6), separated by a centerline (62) of the crest portion (6), are deformed so as to be elevated with respect to the centerline (62) and to close up to mutual contact above the centerline (62). A channel (65) inside the crest portion (6) may remain at the centerline (62). Mechanical machining of the end turns (5a, 5b) to obviate the weaknesses caused by their reduced thickness, and a thermal treatment in an oxide-free environment are also provided.

Die Erfindung begrifft eine Radschraubenanordnung (3) für PKW und sonstige Fahrzeuge. Es wird aufgezeigt, wie eine derartige Radschraubenanordnung (3) besser gegen unbeabsichtigtes Lösen gesichert werden kann, unter Verwendung eines Ringkörpers (13), welcher formschlüssig den Kopf (4) der Radschraube (3) mit der Aussenmantelfläche (17) der Felge (1) anhand entsprechender Formgestaltungen verbindet.
