摘要： The hydrophobic, rheologically effective products, based on clays and/or clay minerals with ion-exchange properties, contain quaternary ammonium ions of general formula (I) as cations for generating hydrophobicity, where R1 and R4 may be chemically similar or different and may be a hydrogen atom, a straight-chain or branched, cyclic or heterocyclic, unsubstituted or substituted, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group with 1 to 40 carbon atoms, whereby R1 is not necessarily linked to the nitrogen atom by the COO group, but can be directly linked to the nitrogen atom, R2 is a hydrogen atom, a short chain hydrocarbon group with 1 to 24 carbon atoms, optionally substituted by a hydroxy group, or an aromatic or heterocyclic group, R3 is a hydrogen atom, a straight chain or branched, saturated or unsaturated, hydrocarbon group with 1 to 24 carbon atoms, CaHb represents a direct bond or a straight chain or branched, saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon group with 1 to 24 carbon atoms and Yn- is an anion with no corroding effect, but rather a protective effect on metals, with the exception of N,N-di(acyloxy-2-ethyl)-N-hydroxy-2-ethyl, N-methyl ammonium-methosulfate, -methophosphate and/or -dimethophosphate.
