摘要: Methods, apparatus and systems for wireless sensing are described. In one example, a described system in a wireless data communication network comprises: a transmitter configured to transmit a time series of wireless sounding signals (WSS) based on a wireless protocol associated with the wireless data communication network, and a receiver. The wireless data communication network comprises a physical (PHY) layer, a medium access control (MAC) layer, and at least one higher layer. The receiver is configured to: receive the time series of WSS (TSWSS) based on the wireless protocol through a wireless channel of a venue, and perform a plurality of wireless sensing measurements based on the received TSWSS to obtain sensing measurement results. The PHY layer or the MAC layer of the receiver reports the sensing measurement results to the at least one higher layer of the receiver. The at least one higher layer of the receiver performs a sensing-based task based on the sensing measurement results.

In one example, a described system comprises: a transmitter configured for transmitting a first wireless signal through a wireless multipath channel of a venue; a receiver configured for receiving a second wireless signal through the wireless multipath channel; and a processor. The second wireless signal differs from the first wireless signal due to the wireless multipath channel and a motion of an object in the venue. The processor is configured for: obtaining a time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the second wireless signal; computing a spatial-temporal information (STI) based on the TSCI; monitoring the motion of the object based on the TSCI and the STI; performing a task based on the monitoring; and generating a response based on the task.

In one example, a described system comprises: a transmitter configured to transmit a first wireless signal through a wireless multipath channel in a venue; a receiver configured to receive a second wireless signal through the wireless multipath channel, wherein the second wireless signal differs from the first wireless signal due to the wireless multipath channel which is impacted by a sleeping motion of an object in the venue; and a processor. The processor is configured for: obtaining a time series of channel information (TSCI) of the wireless multipath channel based on the second wireless signal, wherein each channel information (CI) of the TSCI comprises N1 components, wherein N1 is a positive integer larger than one, computing N1 component-wise analytics each associated with one of the N1 components of the TSCI, identifying N2 largest component-wise analytics among the N1 component-wise analytics, wherein N2 is a positive integer less than N1, computing at least one first motion statistics based on the N2 largest component-wise analytics of the TSCI, and monitoring the sleeping motion of the object based on the at least one first motion statistics.

摘要: Methods, apparatus and systems for sound sensing and wireless sensing are described. In one example, a described system comprises: a sensor configured to obtain a baseband mixture signal in a venue; a transmitter configured to transmit a first radio signal through a wireless channel of the venue; a receiver configured to receive a second radio signal through the wireless channel; and a processor. The baseband mixture signal comprises a mixture of a first source signal and an additional signal. The first source signal is generated by a first motion of a first object in the venue. The second radio signal differs from the first radio signal due to the wireless channel and at least the first motion of the first object in the venue. The processor is configured for: obtaining a radio feature of the second radio signal, constructing a first adaptive filter for the baseband mixture signal based on the radio feature, filtering the baseband mixture signal using the first adaptive filter to obtain a first output signal, and generating an estimation of the first source signal based on the first output signal.
