摘要: An elongate cleaner member (32) is at the top suspended at the uppermost end of the side of each duct wall swept by combustion gases in a multi-duct heat exchanger. The cleaner member extends throughout the height of the duct (l2) without physical contact with the wall, and extends a distance down into lower chamber (ll). To the lowermost part of the cleaner member there is secured a deflector element (36) having asymmetrical mass and area distribution in relation to the point of interconnection between the deflector element and the cleaner member. In a preferred embodiment the cleaner member (32) consists of a chain with links (34, 35) having various widths; the chain links (35) in lower chamber (ll) being smaller than the largest (34) of the links lying between the ends of the duct.
Due to the influence on the deflector element from the combustion gas flow in the lower chamber the whole chain will perform a combined motion comprising an undulating movement with hortizontal amplitudes and a twisting motion forth and back about the vertical axis of the cain. This combined motion influences the gas flow along the duct wall and prevents particulate material entrained with the combustion gas flow from depositing on the wall.

摘要: By the process the supplied amounts of primary air and/or fuel are reduced in a definite way under and shortly after the vibration of the vibrating grate, whereby a sudden increase of the combustion rate caused by the vibration is avoided. As a result the sudden drops of the oxygen content of the exhaust gas occurring in common boilers are avoided, said drops being caused by the fact that the common fuel control reacts too slowly on sudden changes in the combustion conditions.

摘要: By the method bales of straw (4) are conveyed towards two parallel, rotatable solids of rotation (30), each of which carries a helicoid (31). The straw is loosened and transported away by the helicoid passing through or scraping over the area of the bale of straw facing the solids of rotation in the transport direction of the helicoid. When compacted lumps of straw are jammed between the bale of straw and the solids of rotation, the solids of rotation are swung away from the bale of straw to allow further conveyance.

摘要: The boiler comprises a roof and two side walls (22, 25) formed as membrane walls each having a lower header (23, 26) at the bottom and being connected at the top with at least one upper header (27). The boiler has at least one suspended heating surface section comprising several heating surface tubes (30) supported at the top and passed from the roof down to lower headers lying crosswise in the boiler. The roof in the boiler is a membrane wall (28), and the heating surface tubes extend uninterruptedly from one lower header up through and above the roof and return through the roof to an adjacent lower header, and have been passed in a gastight and longitudinally displaceable manner through the membrane wall of the roof.

摘要: The convection cooler comprises an oblong vertically positioned pressure vessel (1) with an upper gas inlet (5) and a lower gas outlet (8) and the vessel accomodates a heat exchange element (10) with heat exchange surfaces (11) for flow of water and steam under high pressure. The heat exchange surfaces define gas ducts (12) divided into straight sections (13) connected with short duct sections (14) which, when viewed in the direction of the gas flow, slope towards the bottom of the vessel. Adjacent duct sections (13) are displaced in the lateral direction at a distance corresponding to the width of the duct. This change in direction of the duct causes the gas flow to be thoroughly mixed during passing, resulting in a uniform distribution of the temperature across the entire cross-sectional area of the duct. At their top the heat exchange surfaces (11) have a common discharge header (18) which through suspensions (19) are suspended at the top of the vessel so that the full load of the heat exchange element (10) is carried by the discharge header (18).

摘要: The radiation cooler comprises an oblong vertically positioned pressure vessel (1) with a heat exchange element including two sections (10, 11) constituting a central gas passage (12) and a peripheral gas passage (14). For the further cooling of gas and slag there is a second, central heat exchange element (15) positioned in the lowermost portion of the central gas passage (12) and a third heat exchange element (16) positioned in the uppermost portion of the peripheral gas passage (13). The tubes from the second heat exchange element (15) merge directly into the tubes forming the third heat exchange element (16) and both of the heat exchange elements are divided into vertical plane panels (15a, 16a). The tubes forming the heat exchange surfaces (10, 11, 15a, 16a) extend vertically and are welded together to form membrane walls. The heat exchange elements are supported by a common discharge header (20) at the top of the vessel, thereby avoiding supplementary, internal stiffening during transportation of the vessel in a horizontal position as well as during operation in a vertical position. This facilitates also the removal of all the heat exchange elements as a unit upon overhaul.
