    - a tagging and filtering unit (30) configured to retrieve the message object (MO) referenced by its message event (ME) upon receiving the message event (ME) and, if a predefined filter criteria (FC) applied to the message object (MO) is met, configured to derive a tag and to update the message object (MO) in the memory (20) with the determined tag to be a tagged message object (MO); and
    - a processing unit (50) being configured to retrieve the tagged message object (MO) from the memory (20) and to process the tagged message object (MO) based on the tag.

The vehicle communication system (1) comprises a plurality of processing units (10, 20, 30) being connected via a communication network with each other for transmitting and receiving data between them, each of the processing units (10, 20, 30) being either one of a first type processing unit implementing a data consuming application (12, 32), a second type processing unit providing data to other of the processing units (10, 20, 30), or a third type processing unit implementing a data consuming application (12, 32) and providing data to other of the processing units (10, 20, 30). The second type processing unit and the third type processing unit are, upon receiving a data value (d(51)-d(55)) from an associated data provider (51-55), configured to convert the data value (d(51)-d(55)) into a self-describing binary format and store the converted data value (dc(51)-dc(55)) in a distributed data space, wherein the distributed data space comprises a set of in-memory databases (23, 33) of the second type processing unit and the third type processing unit (20, 30). The data consuming application (12, 32) accesses the converted data value (dc(51)-dc(55)) in the distributed data space via a predetermined standardized interface.

    摘要: The invention relates to a communication node (10) for a packet-switched data network which comprises an integrated circuit (2) that has a system of electronic components for sending and/or receiving audio and/or video data, particularly of an audio and/or video data stream.
